I tried it for about 30 seconds, determined that it was of course still a piece of shit, and went back to Firefox |

It's better than IE7, but I don't get why they insist on making such awful browsers. |

Because it's Microsoft. Their tradition is to ignore any and all technical capabilities because the user cant possibly understand something so complex. Instead, if they put alot of "pretty graphics" the user will be to busy going OMG LOOK SHINY LULZ to notice that their software is an utter piece of shit. This isn't just IE. I present for your consideration: Vista, Windows XP (when it first came out), Windows ME, Office, anything bearing a Microsoft label. |

I run Vista. The only problem I've ever had with it is that it's a memory hog. IE can skip out on the cool features, but it's never fast. Even a grandma can figure out speed. |

Bleh, I run on vista as well, and I have no problems at all actually. But I do agree with nigma, they try to make pretty graphics so people ignore most of their programs are shit. |

I actually had a friend look into the subject. If you find a way to slow down the installation of IE, you can specifically see it installing hidden files that have nothing to do with running IE, they collect info on your habits
