God damn, their description of Waggaman is HILARIOUS. Absolutely. They make it look so positive, when there's so much they didn't reveal. Add wooded ½ acre lots (that we're cutting down at the moment), convenient shopping (a good ol' 30 minutes away), and a short commute to either Metairie or Downtown New Orleans (approximately 40 miles north) and you’ve just painted a portrait of Live Oak Plantation. Located just off River Road in Waggaman (West Jefferson), Live Oak Plantation offers a “picture perfect” country setting, including a ghetto right behind your rich street in order to get a perfect view of what you got in your backyard (oh, and there's no street lights in your area for you to see them robbing your sh). For the outdoor minded the nearby TPC Louisiana Golf Course offers golfers 18 challenging holes (a good ol' two towns away) , while the West Jefferson Levee Bike Trail - with miles of cycling and equestrian trails - is the perfect spot for an afternoon jog or pleasant walk (minutes before someone decides to rob you in broad daylight). For those more interested in indoor sports, Elmwood Mall, Super-Walmart, and Home Depot offer bargain hunters the ultimate shopping work-out. And just to remind you, that's also three towns away.** No bull. But please, if you do insist, come to Waggaman. Maybe you'll have a hot rich daughter with ya. :D
