I agree whole heartedly.

Kids who misbehave deserve to be punished.

Parents are not as responsible as they used to. Kids swear a lot more than they used to when I was that age. If kids are in a store and running around and a clerk asks them to stop, some parents just go batshit crazy about how they should mind their own business, not to touch their kid or whatever. Kids seem a lot more bitchy than when I was their age overall.

i dont know if we need spankings to be more common, i mean i never was spanked and im not disrespectful or anything, but yeah parents seem to be alot more uncaring when it comes to thier kids behaviors, my parents would have never put up with the stuff i see people letting thier kids do. i cant tell you how many times ive been in a restaurant where the kids are bouncing around and being really loud and the parents are just talking to each other like they done even notice

Oh yes, spanking is definitely going to help your kids grow up right.

It has nothing to do with you being too tired to spend time with your kids.

It has nothing to do with you being too busy to pay attention to your kids.

It has nothing to do with you not caring what your kids watch, what games they play, who they hang out with, or whatever the heck they do while you're slouched in front of the TV after a long day of work.

It's because you didn't spank your kids, man. Totally. That's it.

:dizzy: It's healthy to also teach your child at a young age what's right and wrong. If they swear, you punish. If they sneak a cookie, you punish. You also have to give them positives when they do good. That's just proper parenting. I also think, attention from the parent isn't as important as creating connections with other kids.

EXACTLY!
giving kids them love and attention makes them into spoiled brats

Parents need to be the symbol for fear in a child's life, without physical punishment kids less fear of their parents and adults in general so they give them less respect

Sure that may be part of it Naoko... but the majority of it is because kids don't have any sort of limits.

Speaking as a child who was beaten mercilessly on their behind, spanking works better than any other punishment I ran into.

But, as with every other punishment, it can only do so much. There's obviously more important things to focus on then the punishment.
