And you know? That makes me think. Out of all the versions of the game, why make people share a house in the DS one? On the Gamecube, you could just use a different memory card and make a new town with one game. But the DS, you have to have one game and one town at a time. Which is exactly why everyone should have their own houses. Pretty ghey when you think about it.
There's the part where most people tend to have their own DS and own game instead of sharing, though, too... One family doesn't usually have multiple consoles (although I guess it's getting more common..), but they do often have multiple handhelds.
But it's nice to actually have real people living in a town with you.

Sure, but it's also nice to have a house and DS to yourself.

I don't see it as so great to live with other people if you can't play simultaneously, either...

Yeah but it's always nice to send them stuff in their mail boxes. But best of all you don't have to worry about other people rearranging your shit when you have separate houses.

Honestly, I think it would be cool if you could set up certain times for your character to walk around town while you aren't on and you could even program things for them to say when someone talks to them.
