My turnip prices skyrocketed one day, my cousin changed his date to sunday and got turnips, came to my town, sold them, went back, and repeated

yeah i never used turnips because they always just seemed like a hassle to me, i used to just be able to catch a ton of red snappers to make enough money so im having trouble in this one with money

Brilliant, best of the 3, it combines the best bits of the Cube version and the DS version.
Just paid off my 2nd mortgage and upgraded nooks, had the game a week or 2 but not much time to play due to work.
Personally i never bother with turnips bar the red ones, never get any luck on them >>

I caught a red snapper today but i donated it to the museum so no money made there =\

you should check the turnip prices even if you dont buy them
they can change during the day too, on the day my prices skyrocketed at first they were about 186, then later I checked and they were 405
I made about 3,000,000 bells when my turnip prices got high
I used most of it though, I paid off the rest of my house debt and got a bridge, fountain, and windmill.
now I have 900,000 bells left.

bridge can be built in one of a few places, you select which one
fountain is a key to getting gold/silver axe, but it's really hard
and...window? i said windmill, the windmill is basically the same thing as lighthouse in original, you can make a lighthouse if you dont want a windmill

If only I had a Wii. I would get that game. I was wondering, what are all the upgrades you can get on your house in this game?

big main room, upstairs room and a basement, basically just like the gamecube version.

And i've also read that the windmill boosts your town's rating and the lighthouse increases the chance of rare fish.

I really can't be bothered to play animal crossing at this moment in time for some reason, dunno why |:

Well that kinda sucks. I like the DS house better with more rooms and all. Personally, I think they should have combined them with 4 downstairs rooms, an upstairs, and a basement. But I guess the reason there were more rooms on the DS version was because everyone had to share a house.

And you know? That makes me think. Out of all the versions of the game, why make people share a house in the DS one? On the Gamecube, you could just use a different memory card and make a new town with one game. But the DS, you have to have one game and one town at a time. Which is exactly why everyone should have their own houses. Pretty ghey when you think about it.

There's the part where most people tend to have their own DS and own game instead of sharing, though, too... One family doesn't usually have multiple consoles (although I guess it's getting more common..), but they do often have multiple handhelds.
