How did you not know Blacks were reliably democratic? Who is always disenfranchised by who? Black Voters by Republicans. |

Of course I knew that, but I didn't know it was THAT high of a statistic. Anyway, the point was "stfu about blacks voting for Obama." |

Okay. Normally it is something like a 90-10 split. Just look at DC to get a reflection of the national black vote. On the unfortunate side, black voters also voted overwhelmingly to ban gay marriage in Cali. |

Ugh, I posted the statistic, and now you keep talking as if I'm totally clueless about it, and you're suddenly an expert on black voters. OKAY? |

SOrry, Built up rage at friend for voting yes on prop 8. On a disappointing note, black voters in cali passed prop 8 by something like 70-30. I'm no expert, but I love polling data. |

While I don't like prop 8, it's not exactly good etiquette to get upset at people who disagree with your political point of view... Unless he said something like "gays are evil" or blah blah. Then it's okay. |

He voted yes on it because he felt that since we already said yes on it in 2000 then this should pass to. He's actually a moderate. He disagrees w/gay marriage and abortion but feels that the government shouldn't get involved in that stuff. I owned someone at work on it though. She voted yes because the yes on 8 crowd made ads saying that if it failed gay marriage would be forced on your children. I bet enough people voted like that to float the prop. Damn dirty tactics. |

I still can't figure out the hate so many people hold against palin. she represents so much of what America stands for- the family, the household. and, forget not that she is the only one in the presidental election with administrative branch experience. and the thing with the black voters voting for democrats... look at some other statistics. in rural areas, the majority of people vote republican, because they still realize that the power of America lies in the rights of the individual, where as urban areas are more democratic. look at the spread of blacks around america, and a lot live in cities, thus playing into it... also, democrats tend to be more optimistic, where as republicans tell you how it is, and what can be done- not "hope" (yeah-hope has helped the cubs out so well these past 101 years...). |

First, it's 'cause she's part of the opposite party and holds opposite views. Second, because she came out of nowhere and looked like a desperate attempt to court the vote. Third, I think some people hate her because she reminds them of a percent of the population that they like to pretend doesn't exist. This is just my hypothesis though. |

Fourth, she's unqualified. Hmmmmmm.
Don't forget that other thing she stands for - ignorance! :D I don't have anything against Palin. I just have a problem with voting for someone who can't even directly answer a single question in an interview. Not to mention, I'm not so into voting someone who was picked just to get a certain type of vote in. There's some stuff in your post that's pretty... Backwards, but I'm getting off for now. Bai. |

Obama NEVAR answers things directly either.
I hate her because she's an idiot. When she was asked what newspapers she read, she answered "All of them." She said she could see Russia from her backyard and called that foreign policy experience. As for "experience", nobody is ready for president. By nobody, I mean NOBODY. Not Mccain, not Obama, not Bush, not FDR, not Lincoln. The presidential experience is a learning experience. The American family is *censored* up, btw. Don't talk like America is perfect. Like my newly found anti-American stuff?
