Anyway, no filibuster proof majority for the Dems. That's good. Even if you're a Dem, you should have picked up over the last decade that it's just bad if a party gets a monopoly on Washington. Very bad.

You guys just had 2000-2006. Didn't see much good come out of that.

But then everyone considers themselves right..err...CORRECT, so whatever.

Filibusterer-proof, whether you like it or not would be hilarious. Its still possible, just not very likely.

wait tedyz, how on earth is mccain any less qualified than obama? Obama doesnt have very much political experience on the national level, and not very good views on foreign affairs. If he thinks we should pull out of Iraq, I'm fine with that, as long as we pull out when what we've been doing for the past 5 years is complete. Obama spent a ridiculous amount of money on campaigning, and had so many freakin ads on the internet you couldn't turn around without seeing him. Now, we still have ads *looks up*, but they're "Did OBAMA Buy The Election" ads. I think that McCain would have made a much better president than Obama will. And McCain isn't going to die anytime soon, why are you guys so worried about that. I understand that Palin is in line as vice president, but thats really no reason. Bob Barker is 84. He's not dead yet. George Washington died at 67. 200 years of medical advancements I'm pretty sure can help to exceed that number. Maybe I have no clue what I'm talking about. i don't know. But Obama has no more qualification than McCain has.

Pacifism isn't a bad foreign policy. He's not even that much of a pacifist, but compared to McCain and Bush he is.

And what have we been doing in Iraq besides wasting money and pissing off the world?

...Because McCain suffered from multiple cancers and diseases in the last few years. I remember reading somewhere that he had a 1/3 chance of dying during the next four years. Dead McCain = Palin as president.

That doesn't mean she'll make a good president. She's hilariously stupid. I'd rather have an ugly president to a hot president, if the ugly one was at least smart.

Obamas little fantasy on a happy little country is a shame. He has little plans on foreign policies, giving all of that power to someone else.

Yeah... Too bad neither of them are actually HOT.

Why you don't think of Chelsea Clinton or the Bush girls, I don't know.

Anyway. Interesting news! From what I've been reading lately, most black voters have ALWAYS voted democrat - not just for Obama.

Apparently about 92% of black voters voted for Gore in 2000, and 88%ish for Kerry in 2004. So while race may have slightly skewed things, I'm going to hazard a guess that it wasn't that bad of a change. (Although more black people may have gotten out and voted than before, I don't know about that.)

So yeah, no more blaming the election results on black people voting for black people, kthxbai.

That graph is of black voters. Only 4% of black voters normally consider themselves republican, and that's completely outside of this election.
