Yeah so, we had a blizzard-ish conditions that lead me snow-bounded all day Saturday. When this happened, I decided to play a bit of all my Gamecube and Wii games. I only have 20 because I sold some of them. So, when I finished, I decided to rate them from the best to the worst and here it is: 1. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (GCN) 2. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii) 3. Animal Crossing Population: Growing! (GCN) 4. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (GCN) 5. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) 6. Super Smash Bros.: Melee (GCN) 7. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Wii) 8. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Master Quest (GCN) 9. Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party (Wii) 10. 1080º :Avalanche (GCN) 11. Monopoly Party (GCN) 12. Mario Party 8 (Wii) 13. Starfox Adventures (GCN) 14. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii) 15. Crazy Taxi (GCN) 16. Tales of Symphonia (GCN) 17. Super Mario Sunshine (GCN) 18. Mario Party 6 (GCN) 19. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (Wii) 20. Odama (GCN) So, do you agree with my opinion? What are you favorite games you own? Maybe you should all play like five minutes of every Wii/GCN games you own and rate them! |

Nintendo forum = gamers Gamers = play games Games = more consoles than just Nintendo Most of us here play more than just Nintendo. Arnie and Cheese are awesome, but it does point out a bit of fanboyishness, and to be honest, I thought it was a little funny. Nincentrism. Like egocentrism. I made a new word! Actually, no, let's make this ninegocentrism. That fits better. |

If he wants only Nintendo games, he should've placed it in the Nintendo forums, not general gaming. Besides, there's nothing wrong with rating all the games you have, not just the Nintendo games. It's not like anyone cares that he says "rate your Nintendo games," since it's placed in general gaming and it's rating a bunch of games, what's the point of rating only Nintendo games if you have a bunch of consoles? Really, that's just silly. I would, but I don't care to take the time to list a bunch of random games. And I meant nothing by it, I was just pointing out the fanboyism/nintendo-centrism and I thought it was kind of funny. That's all. Maybe I should've said "I find the focus on Nintendo in the general gaming forum to be quite funny." Would that make you feel better? Seriously people, it's not that big of a deal. I hadn't intended any conversation to stem from this in the first place. Besides, when you 'walk' in to a post titled "Game Ratings" and both posts are filled with all Nintendo games, some of them even fairly crappy games, it is kind of funny. |

I sold my PS2 and PS1 so only have Nintendo Consoles til i get my Xbox360 next month. And if i was a fanboy would i be getting an Xbox360? To be honest if i was satisfied with the games on the Wii enough i wouldn't get one but hey, what else is there bar Brawl and a couple of others. |

Thanks for not making a big deal out of it. After the last few replies, I was afraid to even look at the topic when I saw your post. Really, it was just a comment, because when I see a topic called "Game Ratings" in general gaming and the two lists are completely Nintendo, regardless of what anything else says, it was weird. And yeah, I don't think you and Cheese are fanboys. Actually, I don't know about Cheese, but there's a difference between a console fan and a console fanboy, anyway. Also, even if I wanted to make a list, I can't actually play the games right now... My GCN is kind of broken. Least reliable console I've ever had, unfortunately... (But hey, I've never had an Xbox, so I have yet to encounter the red ring of death.) Errr... My top list: 1. Zelda + Final Fantasy 2. Other games ZE END (No really, maybe a list later. Sleep now.) |

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 2. Kirby Super Star (SNES) 3. Yoshi's Island (SNES) 4. Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World (SNES) 5. Star Fox 64 (N64) 6. Contra (NES) 7. Sim City (SNES) 8. Gauntlet (NES) 9. Pokemon (All Versions of Kanto, Johto, Orre, and Hoenn. Sinnoh sucks.) 10. Super Mario 64 11. Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 12. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and yeah, this list is majorly effed up. This is only off the top of my head. With 460 video games and 14 systems it is VERY hard to choose the best ones from memory. |
