How I ended up with this game: I didn't buy it. My sister did. She looked around on the Internet, found a few positive reviews and got it, even after I told her not to. Well now she regrets it. Too bad.

The Story
Aliens invade the planet and you just dance and sing and stuff. The end. I'm serious.

The Gameplay
Well, you start off by creating a character from 5 models: a girl, some sort of green giant, a rapper, a master-of-kung-fu-tiger and...something(see game cover)...that could be a relative of Patrick from Spongebob. You customize your character with the accessories you want (some have to be unlocked though) and you're ready.

There are two types of stages, karaoke and dance. The microphone for karaoke mode comes with the game (which is why it costs more than most of the others). Karaoke is a no brainer, you basically sing in the mic and you earn points or not based on your tone and the lyrics. The problem is, it's too easy. You could only sing half the song and still get a gold medal. Dance is even worse, all you do is move your Wii Remote in any given direction, following the beat of the song playing, and you get points based on the synch. These stages are extremely boring, and again, you get loads of points for doing close to nothing. These stages usually include a few seconds of lip-synch, during which you just hold a button and release it when no lyrics are being heard. Again, loads of points, and the complete lack of common sence. Wait, so my character doesn't say a thing the whole level, then he decides to lip-synch for 6 seconds? WHY?

Anyway, after stages you get money based on how many points you got so you can unlock songs and accessories. Sometimes, random aliens will come on the stage and give you money, too.

The Graphics
Not much to say about the graphics. The game is very static, since the only thing moving is your character.

The Audio
Very, very few sound effects, and the song you chose from the list. Also, some songs have been remixed, just so you screw up in karaoke mode the first time you play it. That's pretty much it for the audio.

The Difficulty
N/A

I'm going to give this game a

2/10

The songs are relatively popular, meaning you probably heard them all at least once in your life. It's Raining Men, Kung Fu Fighting, Y.M.C.A. , Can't Touch This... you name it.

A piece of advice though: stay away from this game, and spend that money elsewhere. It is NOT worth it.

Ultimate pwnage.
I almost wanted to get this game. I thought it looked nice at first, but I thought "well, people say it's shit, so I'll look up gameplay videos and reviews". So I did.

I was like.. WTF. And didn't get it. Which is awesome.

Hmm...yeah, I would yell at you for getting this game, but I saw your sis bought it against your wishes, so you're excused.

At least it has a good track list.
