Overall, the Xbox 360, no doubt. Best games, best features, best media, etc. Only drawback is it can be tad expensive if you want the full package. (Wi-Fi, HD-DVD Player, etc.) |

360=Wii>>>PS3 360 And Wii are equal, Wii has Technology "A spiffy controller" and Cool games. 360, Well It has GoW and Halo. Ps3, nothing special |

I agree with Crash. Although personally i prefer the Wii, i really do like the Xbox360 as well. The Wii has it's unique gameplay, it's virtual console, free online play, wii channels, miis etc And the Xbox360 has it's achievements, downloads, online play, good strong games catalogue etc You obviously can't compare the Wii to the Xbox360 or ps3, it's a totally different machine intended for a different audience. But the Xbox360 vs the PS3, the Xbox wins hands down. It has/is getting pretty much every game the PS3 will be getting, is cheaper, has the achievement system which the PS3 doesn't have and they haven't had to lower the specs and take away backwards compatibility to make the damn thing sell like the PS3 has. The only reason to ever buy the PS3 is if you're dying for the half a dozen at most, unique totals that it will give you. |

I agree with Crash also. I have only played the wii, but from what i've heard, the 360 is pretty good. There also are quite a good number of games i'd want for it if i got it. I also think the xbox live marketplace is pretty good. HOWEVER! The Wii has many more games on its virtual console spanning already 6 systems! I think the wii is better. The 360 can play DVDs though, and HD DVDs with the add-on. It also has better graphics. I don't know. There are games that i like on both systems. I'm a total nintendo fanboy sadly. Been a fan since i was 4 months old. Nintendo roxx0rs. AWESOME GAMES FTW! the only problem is that if sony dies they'll give microsoft the reproduction rights to the games on the marketplace cuz we doublecrossed them with the CD attachment for the Super NES :nervous: EDIT- In my mind though, I think that sony isn't even worth mentioning. The PS3 is only a matter to them of stuffing the most shit into their system. They dont know how to properly execute that shit though, and that people don't like that much shit in one sitting :-P |

Wii has free online play, but not much support so far. Virtual console is nice and inexpensive. Lots of cool channels that cost squat. Inexpensive. Games cost less. More unique. Backwards compatibility. 360 charges for online play, but lots of support. Game demo's and arcade trials are nice, but the full arcade games can be a tad pricey for the content. Cheaper than the PS3, but still a powerful machine. 'Backwards Compatibility'. More games than the other consoles. PS3 has 7 more USB ports than necessary. |

360 is the best right now, hands down. Both the Wii and the PS3 have very few awesome games, but both have good games lined up. Currently, the Wii has more released games that are good, but there's more coming out for the PS3 that I would like. The Wii is cheaper, but half of the people playing the Wii aren't even real gamers in the first place... (My sister got a Wii for Xmas. That should be proof enough.) As for a real gamer? A hardcore gamer? PS3 isn't bad, if you can afford it. Most of us can't. If it was cheaper, I'd get one. I'm not an Xbox fan and I don't play Xbox, but it's definitely the best of the three consoles right now. New-gen aside, I'd say N64 and PS2 are the best consoles overall. I'm not going to decide between the two. |

I also agree about the Nintendo 64 being the best. I wish I still had mine right now. I can't say what is the best new console though, since I don't have any of the three. |
