Okay so. That's my review of manhunt 2. I was expecting a LOT from this game, since I played the first one and really liked it. Well, the game isn't bad, but it could've been better. Story : 7/10 You are Danny Lamb. You were put into a mental hospital because you killed your wife, but it wasn't your fault, you have schyzofrenia (sp?). Then you must go on a queeeest to find out what happened, and who is the other person inside you. It's okay, but not as deep as it was announced to be. Gameplay : 8/10 The gameplay is pretty good. You must shake your wiimote and nunchuk to hit the enemies. To execute the enemies, you must push A, and then execute the moves that are shown *move the wiimote to the left, shake the nunchuk, etc*. The only big problem here is the camera. It's really bad. Graphics : 7/10 Considering it's the wii, they're okay. But they could've been way better. Nothing more to say here. Sounds : 6/10 Music is okay, but bleh. The voice acting is pretty good. The sounds when you execute people is awesome. It sounds really realistic, even if you can't see what's going on (i'll explain later). So anyway. The game is okay, but I was expecting much more. One thing that really bugs me is the fact that it's been "censored". They put the screen all red when you kill someone and you can't see what's going on. Then after the execution, the screen stay that way for about 4-5 seconds, enough time for you to get spotted, and maybe killed. I mean, yeah, the game is violent, but the first one didn't have that, so why the second one? Also, the camera is pretty bad. There're some slowdowns during shootings, and sometimes (but rarely) when you're walking or running. This game had great potential, but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It's still worth playing though. I give this game a nice 7/10. |

Could that be one of the modifications done because of the ESRB saying they'd rate it Adult Only? |

I recommend renting it first, but then buy it if you like it. I heard the PSP and PS2 versions were better, but I haven't played them. |

yeah, censorship is such bullcrap. Think about all the art out there that has grotesque things in it, but it remains uncensored because it's considered "Art". Games and music are both forms of art, and should be treated as such. |
