Okay, I'm afraid at the moment that my computer will crash, and I mean CRASH crash, as in Blue Screen of Death crash. I mainly think this because I made a youtube poop video on WMM (Youtube poops are just messed up remixed videos of old video game cartoons.) and I placed a song in there, and had it play to an image. What happened was, it somehow lagged a few seconds before that, and when I played it, the song started out very slow, and got faster gradually, up until it got to normal speed, which it played for a few seconds until the next screen. Now, it only did that on my Windows Media Player, and not Windows Movie Maker. (WMM played the whole thing normal speed) I'm scared that this "gradual acceleration" will result in my computer crashing. So, I'm scared of that because it wasn't supposed to do that, but it did. Hence being an "illegal action" computer-wise? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm a little paranoid. |

Turn off your PC, then boot it back up. (No restart, turn it off all the way.) That might help. We'll see. It might be just your paranoidness. |

its not going to crash, your fine that happens to me all the time when i play a song in limewire, it messes up unless limewire is the active window. it doesnt make you crash, it just means that your computer was lagging. and anyway, BSOD isnt permanent like GFN said. |

BSoD's can be permanant if you have a permanant condition (like say, a broken HDD) however, if you have conditions like you guys mentioned, the BSoD is finite. I used to get them often. I paid no heed, like you guys. One day, I woke up, turned on my PC, and discovered my motherboard, processor, and power supply were all fried. Time for a new PC! :) |
