I'll begin this topic with a dream I had the other night.

I walked into a forest at night, which was for some reason in the middle of the town. In the forest, they were accusing certain girls of being evil (Kind of like the Salem Witch Trials) and basically there was a preacher who made this huge speech and there was a crowd of people listening to him. I hid while the preacher did his "lecture" and there was a point during this lecture when he told everybody to turn around and close their eyes to perform some kind of ritual. Now, the girls were sealed away in this closet-like thing that resembled a casket, but much bigger, and it stood up. (It didn't look anything like a casket, but a casket was actually the closest thing I could think of.) As the town people were doing a ritual, I got up and somehow managed to open the "closet-thing" and help all four girls escape from the forest. When I was halfway out of the forest, I heard the preacher yell "hey!". I didn't see the girls for the rest of the dream, meaning that they were saved. (I guess) Instead, I ran to my father's house and locked the door. Me and my father started talking and that's when I woke up.

I think this dream was a sign telling me that I should do things for other people. During the dream, when I was saving the girl's lives, I remember having this happiness that I can't ever remember having in real life. I think, if I did the same in real life, I would have that feeling, and that it is always good to do things for other people.

Even though dream dictionaries aren't always right, the category of "Rescuing" from Dream Moods...

Dream Moods

represents an aspect of yourself that has been neglected or ignored. You are trying to find a way to express this neglected part of yourself.
