I finished school on wednesday with an awards breakfast (i recieved a high honors ribbon [all As for third trimester], a high honors medal [all As all year], and the President's Award of Achievement in computer technology [best in computer class, signed by President Bush.]) That night at the graduation i got the President's Award for Educational Excellence (nothing under A- in grade 8, signed by President Bush), the Academic Excellence Award (highest award possible, nothing under A- for my entire career as a student so far), and my Junior High diploma. In total, between the computer award and the academic excellence award, i got $75 in gift certificates. When i recieved both of the awards, both the computer teacher and the school principal explained how i wrote my own programs, started running a website at the age of 11, and have already made plans to go to MIT. The principal said that it would be no surprise to him if someday Bill Gates was working for me! At the after-party (taking place at the Officer's Club) following the graduation, I had pizza and cake. The afterparty went up till nine and Josh asked me to search for Thriller in the DJ's CD case. I searched through the entire case and discovered it was right in the inside front cover! I suggested Thriller and watched the others all do the zombie dance from RuneScape (also the dance in MJ's Thriller short film.) Tim talked me into doing some "cool MJ 80s moves", so i did after a good 3 minutes of talking me into it. I did the moonwalk across the dance floor, the anti gravity lean, and a few more of his signature moves, such as the robot and the sidewalk. My heart was thumping, and at the raffle held a few minutes later, I won. I got to pick from a table of items, and I chose the only video game on the table, Area 51. Around 9ish, my mom called, checking up to see if i was all right and such. She gave me the greatest news I have heard all year. She was going to pay the difference from the money I had to get me a new computer!!! Also, yesterday when I was spending my $75 dollars in gift certificates from Barnes and Noble, my mom got a call from the school. My brother had collided with another kid and took a blow to his head when he fell down on the ground. He was unconcious for more than 3 minutes, and I had to drop everything i was getting, only able to buy Michael Jackson's Blood on the Dance Floor album. The school called 911 and the nurse didn't even know if he was concious or not (although apparently he was unconcious, seeing as she was "screaming" into his ear in a later recount.) My mom drove like crazy trying to get back to the school where the ambulance was called to, completely breaking every law in the book, running through stop signs and red lights, talking on the cell phone, exceeding the speed limit, and not wearing a seat belt. My brother was concious when we got there, and my mom dropped me off at our house, as well as the neighbors who were out with us, and my baby brother. After they got back an hour or two later, Ryan was immediately back to skateboarding (the ER people ok'd it), but was called back inside after my mom asked the local doctor about it. I still have a good 65 dollars left to spend. In other news, I took out the shoutbox, replacing it with the guestbook again (although it has changed in its design), and i added a ratings/comments page. Please rate and comment GFN. Also, the gamer's gallery is slated for release next wednesday, if nothing goes wrong. I am currently working on a page about the history of GFN, which should be done by sunday. |

:( I was supposed to get that when I was in eighth grade. But they changed the standards between when my sister won it and when I graduated, so I didn't get it. :( |

They were Bs or something when my sister was there and As when I was there. Had I not been in the advanced math class, I think I would have had all As. I don't really recall; junior high is something I try to block from my mind. |

im glad i got all the money, i can put that towards getting a better compy than what i would've gotten! =D i wanna spend the other 15 dollars on a book about home studio recording |
