What are your favorite and least favorite school subjects?

I enjoy English--I better get an A this semester!--because it's easy for me. I'm not that great at writing long, detailed essays or seeing the magical insight in a novel, but I can write semi-decently and that seems to suffice for most teachers.

However, I very much enjoy taking foreign languages. I think it's neat to be able to speak multiple languages, if even just a little, especially if one plans on traveling.

My least favorite subject is math because it's hard. When I was younger, I used to be very good at it. Then they took out the letters and started adding in "x"es and "y"s. Seriously, just keep the stupid numbers. :P

My favourites are English and Social. Mainly because I actually care about them. I mean, language is how we communicate, and I've spent my entire life speaking English, so what's not too love. I'm familiar and it's important, and I get it. Social I love because it's history, history has shaped who we are, and it is important to learn about the past so we can have an idea what could happen in the present. My least favourites are Math and Science. These are weird ones, because I find science interesting, but I just can't grasp it, not a scientific mind. I can't get why, and it just kind of blows my mind, hee. Math is an odd choice because I get it, I can do it, I can even get the theory behind why we do what we do, I just find numbers so boring that I can never get close to enjoying the subject, no matter what.

For non-core subjects, Japanese and ComTech (Communication Technologies) are great. Japanese is a cool language, and fairly easy too. ComTech is stuff like graphic design and photography, nothing I'm good at, but still fun stuff. I also took psychology as an option, I find it interesting, and while there is a science to how our mind works, I just didn't the full enjoyment I could because I don't think how we think is a science, as much as it is based on our past experiences and the conditions we grow up in. I don't think stuf like medication is the key. The teacher also taught us *censored* about stuff like meditation, and while it's important to have time to be yourself and to just think, it's something that shouldn't be taught but discovered on your own, to find the technique that works best for you. I mean, why should I imagine my worries as a bubble floating away? That's not only very homosexual, I'll still have them. If my worry is school, I still have to do.

Last year I had to take gym, InfoPro (think Computers for Absolute Idiots), and CALM (basically health), of those only gym was semi-fun. However giving lame courses to teachers who don't want to teach them is not a good idea. No teacher wants to teach CALM because it's a stupid subject

I don't know how it makes you look gay, since there are a lot of male cookers.

Got to agree with that. Screw high school peoples. Cooking = very useful when you aren't living with your parents anymore. Lawl. Your future family/whoever will greatly appreciate it.
