Eat Cheese or Die Trying

You know, HF is a pretty strange place. I originally joined, as most of you probably know, to post an advertisement. However because of the posting requirement (thirty posts or whatnot) I was forced to actually commit some time to the forum. I didn't think I was going to stay--I usually don't--but the craziness of this forum forced me to do so.
:D I mean, how many forums have a "hottest male member" contest? (That so weirded me out when I first joined, by the way.) So here is my question and the ultimate point of the thread: Have you ever been to a stranger place on the Internet? I know that I, for one, have not. Everyone these days seems to mean business, business, business. While my RPG does not (it's more for fun), most forums and RPGs out there have a strict set of rules and the members are there trying to be "professional" (which they never are) and nothing is ever fun. |

gaming clans are a lot stranger, you try to enforce rules but they dont work, and you hear some of the strangest conversations because of the amount of different people. its always fun to watch someone who types 71|c3 7|-|i$ and says nigga every other word argue with someone who insists on perfect english or types like they are from medieval times. |

Hmmm . . . then I guess I just frequent the more normal parts of the Internet. You know, because typing like you're a person from the Middle Ages is normal, right? |

I've been to a Team Fortress Classic 20-man 10\vs\10 team match... there is NOTHING weirder than 20 people with headsets fragging each other. |
