To your first question: yes.

Second question: no. No memory cards! :D

it comes with nunchuck, wiimote, two batteries, console, sensor bar, AC power, AV cables, and Wii Sports (if you're here in america)

it has a hard drive already, you really only need a memory card (SD) if you wanna transfer images from a cell phone or compy. i have a 1 gig'r for images.

you can also use SD to transfer movable files (ie TP)

unmovable files are like your Internet favorites and Everybody Votes information

Oh, and if you buy a memory card just so that you can have six files for TP, it doesn't work. >_>

The sensor bar is what you aim the Wiimote at.

The AV Cables I think are the yellow, white and red cables that you plug into the sockets on the tv set to show the picture and hear the sound

The AC Power I'm not sure of

Isn't AC power the thing that plugs into the wall?

I could be wrong about that. But it does come with everything it needs to work.

Nunchuck and Wiimote. If you want an old-school remote, then you have to buy it separately.

I wish we could just use the old remotes. But I don't really see anything "dumb" about having to buy those other remotes. Well, except for the fact that they never really seem to be in stock.

Making you BUY a REGULAR controller, and yet the NUNCHUK comes with it?

Yeah. Dumb.

But you don't need the old school controllers to play any of the actual Wii games; you only need it for the virtual console.

I don't care. I don't like the Wiimote much. For a little bit, it's fine. A lot, I don't. I'd hate to play for hours with the freaking Wiimote. It's annoying.

Awwww I loved the Wiimote. I thought it would be awkward at first, but after playing with it for a little while--and with the nunchuck--it turned out to be really cool.

So how did you play Zelda then if you didn't play with the Wiimote?

I don't have a Wii. I played it on GCN.

Left-handed Link ftw. Better than the half-retarded righty Link. Which he shouldn't be in the first place; the whole right-handed-ness was to whore the game to all the people who complained, I CAN'T USE MAH LEFT HAND LAWL. Link is left-handed, get the hell over it and don't change character designs just because people are lazy.
