I'm not sure if this is real or if it's just some person who made it. I think it looks fake, it's either that or it's made out of plastic.

Wood, most likely, for the price. In fact, willing to bet it's a light wood. Nothing too heavy, but not too light, either. Oak or maple, perhaps.

I bet it's made of magic. I mean, come on; it's kinda obvious.

The light reflection of the flash off the shield dispels any notion of it being metal or plastic; it isn't reflective enough. My money's on wood, i think.

The description says FOR COSPLAY PURPOSES.

Cosplay = lightweight, not real weapons. It's probably wood or a type of plastic. Although this P's off a lot of cosplayers that hate the crap that looks so fake. It's how it looks that matters, and also that it's light and not dangerous.

One of the comments: "My first reaction to the picture was: What? Another Zelda cake?" HAH it does kind of look like a cake actually. XD

I think part of the fun of cosplaying is making your own costume. I don't know, I guess; I've only dressed up as a videogame character once and I made the costume overnight. But it was still fun.

It's really hard to make certain parts of costumes. I'd prefer to make costumes myself, but sometimes outside help will really help yourself out.

Ahem... http://catsonmars.com/otaku/index.php Go there, click cosplay on the side, and just look at those things. Just wow. Sometimes making your own costume... Eh... Yeeeah.

Okay, that's scary.

My sister has a real sword. I want a real sword. *sighs* Her husband bought it as a Valentine's Day gift.
