So, fan of Zelda? I'm guessing yes. If you've played Zelda, you know that there are temples. Want to see some more temples and have an idea?

I'm hoping to see some good ideas. I can't come up with any but I'm interested to see what other veterans want in an upcoming zelda game.

Let's see. We usually have forest, fire, and water as the basic elements. I don't think we should step too far out of those element-wise or else it's like "battle of teh elements" and goes from Zelda to Pokemon or whatever. Shadow Temple and Spirit Temple in OoT were good, but I thought that the Temple of Time in TP was the best. Yeah, that was pretty cool. B)

So I can't really think of a temple right now and I should be doing homework.

i wrote a post about this at a diffrent forum a few weeks ago, but i can't find the link right now(haha pun)

basically it involved a partner of sorts to help you in the dungeon, fight bad guys, solve puzzles etc, kinda like how you got the sun mask in MM and at the end your partner betrays you and he really is the boss of the dungeon.
Currently Playing: F-zero GX, Link To The Past
Currently Glitching: F - Zero GX

Master of Cows, MASTER..OF THE WORLD!
A steel temple.. No wait! A life temple, where you turn into animals in
different rooms, and you have to talk to the animals to find out hints,
and they give you tests to see if you are worthy to fight the boss.

Before you fight the boss, you have to fight a miniboss, he's the evil little
frog from MM, but he is good. Until he gets eaten by the huge frog you fought
in the Water Temple, and you have to use the clawshot to get above him,
and use the iron boots to crush he tender, fat, ugly body. After you beat him, you get the gust jar from the Minish cap!

Then the boss is a giant shaman bulblin, and he summons chu chus and bulblins to fight you, suck the chu chus in and shoot them at the bulblins, then suck
the bulblins in and shoot them at the spider webs blocking the air from sucking
everything in, after it breaks after three shots, put on your iron boots and press
'A' on a plant to grab it. The bulblin will be sucked in, just slash his feet a lot, until
the air stops sucking him in. Now do the same thing to the other hole. After
you finish cutting his other foot, he'll fall down and you have to cut his nose
without being hit by the bulblins constantly falling from the holes in the walls.

After the nose in sliced enough, the end scene will kick in.
The bulblin gets up and trips over a pedestal. He falls and his head gets shoved
into the hole, and they both start sucking again, ripping him apart.
Right before he gets ripped in half, the win music plays and he explodes.
You find the third part of the mirror.

That's the best level I've ever written for the Zelda series.

I like that idea a lot. It kind of reminds me of Blinds dungeon in A Link to the Past. Except instead of having someone follow you, you control them too. That sounds so cool.

I would want an Energy Temple. Like lightning. The dungeon is in a giant storm cloud, and it's home to a new enemy: Electrified Keese:

That's like the City in the Sky level in TP, but it doesn't have any keese in it.

I would like to see another shadow temple like the one of OoT.

I would like to see an ice cream temple made entirely from ice cream and cherries. >_<

But I think a metal temple would be cool as long as it wasn't super futuristic or something.

I want to see a temple that temporarily takes you into, like, a futuristic world, with flying machines and digital monsters, a la Tron.

I don't think advanced technology should be included, I think it simply wouldn't fit the LoZ world. A dude with a sword fighting robots using laser guns doesn't really work.

In a way, it would not work. But think of the beamos: they are machine-like creatures which shoot lazers out of their heads. I agree that there should not be an all-out sci-fi expedition in LoZ, but there most certainly are sci-fi elements. (Especially in TP.)

Bowie. And no, not the stupid movie. Have a labyrinth temple, like from the story of the minotaur and the dude that went in. WTF was his name, I can't remember. Anyway, a labyrinth temple would be awesome.

Legend of Zelda Minotaurs. That could be interesting. Like a Moblin?
