www.nsmrpg.com This is my RPG, NSM RPG. It's a Legend of Zelda RPG based upon Twilight Princess. We used to be an Ocarina of Time-based RPG, but recently (just a couple of days ago) we totally revamped and added all of the Twilight Princess locations. Now would be a great time to join (hint, hint) because we basically started over. If you have never played on a role playing board, that is totally fine. We accept all levels of RPer, from the very beginner to expert. Several of our members speak English as their second language, so there's no pressure or anything at all. We're just here to have fun. Oh, and we have a great community. Here's a bit of the plot incase anyone is interested. Darkness Has Come Somewhere in the midsts of Gerudo Desert, a lone carpenter travels through the winds, blustering his way through the shifting sands. He stumbles along, his skin caked with rough sand, and prays to the goddesses that somehow he will make it out of here alive. Just when he thinks that perhaps he has taken his last step, the ground beneath him shifts and the sands swallow him whole. He gasps for air, but finally succumbs to the darkness. The carpenter wakes a few hours later and struggles to sit up. He looks around the musty cavern around him, and a glint of something catches his weary eyes. He blinks and rubs the sand away from his face. Slowly he stands up on his rubbery legs and shuffles over to the shiny object. He grins, and the object reflects his gap-toothed smile. Before him stands the most magnificent mirror he has ever seen. And it's all his. With one small problem. He looks around the room eagerly, but to his concern finds no exit. Still, he won't let that stop him. He grabs the mirror firmly in both hands, his arms stretched wide to grasp its large frame. With a grunt he lifts the mirror up off the ground, only to find that it is much heavier than he originally imagined. Suddenly he drops the mirror, and it lands face-down on the cold stone floor. The carpenter gasps, afraid that he might have damaged his newfound treasure. But to his utter shock, the mirror is not only completely intact, but it is also glowing brilliantly. He takes a few stunned steps backwards, trips over a loose stone, and falls to the ground. Everything goes dark. A New Chapter That morning seemed much like any other morning. But it wasn't. For precisely half past nine o'clock, a dark cloud shot up from the middle of the Gerudo Desert and blossomed into a blanket of death. It quickly covered the all of Hyrule. People scurried out of their houses to see what all of the chaos was, but that was their mistake. For the darkness quickly seeped into their souls and turned each living being into a shadow of their selves. They tried to run, they tried to hide; but they could not escape. The people suddenly found themselves depressed and drained of energy. They became as mere spirits. Only those strong enough could gather their courage and strength. They prayed to the goddesses to help them on their quests to return Hyrule to its rightful state. But that was not the end of it. The skies opened up, and out dropped several of the black brutes, the Twilit Messengers, the mindless minions of darkness with sharp claws and ugly hair-dos. No one knew how to defeat them, and they ravaged through the towns, tearing up homes and installing Comcast "High Speed" Internet. Was that the end? the people cried. What more could happen to them? They begged the goddesses that this all end now, but the goddesses weren't listening. Suddenly the ground around them trembled and shook mercilessly. What was this? Tremors and quakes of all sizes ravaged the land, and the people lived in constant fear. They cried out to the heavens, but the goddesses did not listen. They prayed that their princess would return their kingdom to its peaceful state. But their prayers went unheard. It appeared that they had been abandoned. No power in the heavens listened to their pitiful cries. The powerful cloud of evil blacked out the sun and killed all of the crops, plunging the land into devastating famine. And what of Termina? What of the land to the West? No one knows what happened to Termina, for the forest swallowed the road between the two lands and grew so fierce that no one could penetrate its thickness. Even their own Kokiri Forest was swallowed whole by the forest. And the Great Sea? It seems to have been wiped off of the face of the planet; there is no longer a Great Sea. Yep, you just join and when the account is validated--I had to do that b/c we got some porn on our site--you can post your stats and all in the intro section. EDIT: ooo I just read over what I wrote and I wanted to clarify: we don't have porn; a spambot posted up some nasty pictures and I had to delete them. We were getting several spambots (maybe 10) a day. |

Millumi, I frankly wouldn't care if you put Chuck Norris in the RPG as long as you make him Zelda-fied. However, it may not work because he can't be godly. Poor Chuck Norris. |
