I use it, but I hate myspace. Xanga is the best of them all.

Xanga has more of a community, and it's where the intellectuals gather. They have featured content, which is where they have interesting posts on the front page. People comment each other, debate, talk about things... It's so much more of a community, and it's the best of them all for debate, writing, or intellectual purposes. Or especially to blog your own life. It's also where most of the hardcore bloggers congregate. Not only that, but you can totally alter your xanga in any way you want it to look. None of the other majour blogs have such manipulatible layouts.

Facebook is also really fun, and it's my second. You can post as many pics as you want, join groups for just about anything, and... Gah, facebook is just freaking fun. Plus it gives you feedback to say when your friend leaves a comment, joins a group, adds a friend, makes a post, or whatever. It's just fun.

Myspace... People make emo pictures and comment each other. Most myspace-ers don't even make many blog posts. It's just to keep in touch with some friends. It's simple for someone who's sort of a n00b to blogging, but... It's really not that great. It just appeals to the average teenager, I s'pose. It also sort of whores itself to the media, unfortunately...

Livejournal... I'd say this is pretty like xanga, except with different features. I like both, but I think xanga has more features than LJ. But LJ's good, too.

Myspace is for kids, and as such, I have 0 interest. Plus, allowing people to customize their pages is the worst idea ever on the internet.

Use it to keep in touch with my friends.
I know I haven't been the best. I know what I've done. Please let me vindicate myself.

I've been dying on the inside, never showing on the outside. I've been crying for so long and never tears can produce because they've all been spent upon you. Every moment fades and it transitions into thoughts of you. Life, death; both are synonyms without you. This unbearable pain, I now understand-please let me mend those pieces of the heart I've shattered with all I can and show you who I really am . . .

-I love you and I always have.

I do use it and like it somewhat, simply because it's a way for me to talk with my friends online who aren't forums geeks. XP

Kidding.

Xanga is for adults! ^_^

Ahahah, I'm kidding. It's for everyone. But on xanga... Blah, I already wrote about it.

Examples of some interesting featured posts on the front page:

What Women Want
Top Five Movie stuffs

Did You Know?

There aren't many good ones on the frontpage today. I've read ones about rape, very political issues, or a moral that some random movie gives you. They're just interesting things to read, and blah.

B, sounds more like your kind of thing, I think.

I'm already on Facebook, which is enough for me. I've got my fellow college alumni, coaster geeks and a few long-lost HS friends all in one spot. Plus, its just fun.

I will give Xanga a look, though.
