About a year and a half ago, I typed up a story during the summer. It took a long time to finish. I was even up all night. I copied and pasted the story from notepad, went on word and fixed all the incorrect grammar and much more. It literally took my whole day to do it. I put more information and made a better plot. The ending definately made more sense than the old version. At first it was named Hell, but then I renamed it "Chaos In Waggaman" Waggaman is where I live.

All the names (except Randel) were from people I know.

It's about two species named the Zombies and Vampires who have war every 4,000 years on Earth. They come from the core and try to bite and infect humans to try and use them for extra help to win the war. This group of kids try to escape the neighborhood before the military wipes out the neighborhood by bombing it.

So here is version 2 of my story.
Note that this is pretty long. It might take you 45 minutes to read. Possibly an hour if you actually read it instead of just moving your eyes through the lines.

"Chaos In Waggaman"

There was a boy named Caleb, and his best friend Kyle. They were going to school once again, but this day wasn’t normal. While Caleb’s mom was driving Caleb to school, Caleb looked out the window and suddenly saw one his classmates, Randel, suddenly pass out and fall to the ground while he was walking to school. No one was around to help him. Caleb thought, ‘What the? That’s not something you see every day!’ When Caleb reached school he went into the cafeteria for breakfast. As he got his breakfast, he noticed Kyle was already at the table eating for five minutes or so. So Caleb went by him because he gets along with him very well.

As he sat down with Kyle, Kyle said, “Caleb! You have any clue where Randel is? He didn’t show up yet.”

Caleb responded, “Yeah, I saw him pass out while walking to school as I was coming here, wh-”

“Pass out? What you mean?” Kyle asked as he knew he interrupted. Caleb pauses for five seconds after Kyle interrupted. “Sorry. . .” Kyle said.

“It’s alright,” Caleb responded, “So, why you worried about him?”

“Well. . .” Kyle started out, “he always shows up at 7 A.M. for breakfast, and it’s like. . . 7:20?” Caleb looked at his watch.

“Yup. . . 7:20! I don’t know why he just passed out like that. It’s not so important anyway. . .” Caleb said.

Suddenly the bell rang.

“Dang it! I just sat down!” Caleb complained.

As Caleb and Kyle got up, Caleb shoved his grits and bacon in his mouth and poured his chocolate milk in his mouth. After he swallowed it, he said, “Mmm. . .tasty!”

As they were walking to class, Randel jumped up out of nowhere right in front of Caleb and Kyle.

Caleb jumped and suddenly said, “Woah! Dude, don’t do that!” Kyle looked at Randel’s eyes and noticed they were red, looking like they were burned. Randel was staring at Kyle's arm the whole time, drooling blood.

“Ew dude, you’re bleeding! Go to the nurse or something! Damn!” Kyle said while he was freaking out. Caleb and Kyle walked fast away from Randel as he attempted to bite Kyle’s arm.

“Jesus,” Caleb busted out, “What was that all about?”

“I don’t know, but I will beat him up if he comes near me. . .” Kyle replied making sure he Randel didn’t bite his arm.

“He’s going to be in our class you know. . .” Caleb reminded Kyle. Kyle opened his mouth but didn’t say anything.

After four seconds, he suddenly said, “Crap. . .”

Three minutes later, everyone started going in the class. Caleb went and sat in a random place as Kyle sat to the left of Caleb. Then, suddenly, Amanda, a girl who Caleb likes, sat right next to Caleb on the right only because that was one of the two seats she had to sit in. The other seat had Timothy, a smelly person who no hot girl would like. Caleb looked and smiled at Kyle. Then Kyle made eyes at Caleb like he would regret it.

The teacher suddenly said, “Oh, I’m sorry. I got to use the bathroom. Be good while I’m there and you’ll probably get free time.”

As she walked out, Caleb whispered to Kyle, “Kyle, Randel isn’t here.”

“Why should we care that he isn’t here?” Kyle responded.

Suddenly, a loud scream comes down from the hall. Everybody started wondering what happened. Saint, one of Caleb's friends, said, “Okay. . .”

It had been ten minutes and the teacher wasn’t back yet. Caleb started to worry if this somehow involved Randel. Suddenly the power went out. Caleb got up because he saw red from the hall. A couple of classmates got scared, couple girls made a small sound from being frightened, and a lot of boys were thinking what the hell was happening. Caleb looked out the window from the door and saw symbols written in blood that represented Satan. He saw it clearly because it glowed without getting brighter and without getting darker.

Caleb yelled, “Damn, this isn’t something you see every day!”

Then Chris, a smart-mouth, said “Just wait ‘til you see your face!” Everyone laughs except Kyle and Saint.

“Man, forget you coco-puff,” Caleb replied back. Everyone said, “Oooooo!”

Chris said, “Whatever,” and walked up to the window to see.

Suddenly, a bloody hand broke through the window, grabbed Chris by the neck, and pulled him through the window. Everyone started screaming and panicking.
Chris yelled as he was out in the hall with “something”.

“Not cool! Not cool!” he yelled. Then there were noises of stuff getting torn up. The noise from Chris suddenly stopped, and blood started rushing in from the bottom crack of the door. Everyone was panicking and complimenting.

“Guys, calm down!” Caleb yelled. A couple calmed down but not enough. “CALM DOWN!” he yelled to get them to stop.

Everyone stopped making noise.

“Now,” Caleb started, “anyone gonna volunteer with me to go look outside?” It was quiet since no one wanted to help because they didn’t care much about the situation.

“Hell, I’m gonna come with you to check it out!” Saint said.

“Yeah, I’m not scared at all!” Kyle said.

“Thanks guys, you’re actually brave enough to stand up with me,” Caleb said.

“Heh, no one volunteers for uglies except for other uglies!” Demi said. She was just another smart-mouth. A couple of people laughed in the background. Before Kyle was gonna burst out, Caleb turned around and said, “Nor do they stand up for lesbos.” Everyone laughed even harder as Demi was embarrassed.

Caleb took three more minutes to rip off a leg from a desk. He then opened the door slowly. He saw a shadow run quickly through the hall and it screeched. Caleb slammed the door immediately.

At the time, everyone was quiet and nervous.

Suddenly, a zombie busted the door down as Caleb, Saint, and Kyle backed up.

“Oh damn!” Caleb yelled out. “WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE!”

Kyle yelled out, “Go through the back windows!”

Everyone started panicking and running around. Caleb noticed that Amanda wasn’t on the ground where everyone else was sitting down. Caleb looked to the doors and saw Amanda trying to get out of a hold from a zombie

Caleb suddenly yelled, “Aw, crap!”

Caleb ran toward the entrance and said, “Say hello to the devil for me!” He then slammed the desk leg right into the zombie’s head. The zombie collapsed to the ground.

“Agh!” Amanda yelled frightened as she was let loose. Caleb turned around and was shocked. More zombies were busting through the back windows. Students tried to escape that way dodging the zombies.

“Amanda, stay behind me!” Caleb ran toward the zombies and did a whirlwind with the desk leg and killed about six of the zombies. Since it was metal, it did good damage. They both jumped through the back window.

“Good luck!” Caleb yelled as Amanda started to run.

“Thank you!” Amanda said as she ran off toward the gates.

About twenty seconds later, Caleb killed three more creatures. Then the last zombie Caleb noticed was his teacher! Caleb ran instead of killing her because eleven infected zombies were starting to surround him. Caleb ran off looking for Kyle, Saint, and Amanda. All the classmates remaining already were out of the school. So Caleb was the only one in the school alive! Caleb ran off looking.

He got through Arcia Street, where the school is located, and was now on Richard Street. Caleb saw Craig, a student and friend, running for his life as a zombie was chasing him. Caleb then chuckled because Craig always looked funny when he ran with his fat bouncing.

Caleb wasted no time. He sprinted through the street passing up all the zombies. He made sure he held his desk leg tightly.

When he got to the corner of Jeffer Drive, his street, and Richard Street, he saw Ryan struggling to get a zombie off of him so it won’t bite him. Caleb knocked the back of the zombie’s head, and it was knocked out and laid on Ryan. Ryan pushed it off of him and stood up.

“Damn Caleb! Thanks!” Ryan said in amazement as he ran off to the right. Caleb then wanted him to stay with him, but it was too late as Ryan ran to the next block and was attacked onto the ground by three zombies. They were quick! Ryan was screeching as he was getting eaten alive.

Caleb was now in fear that would happen to him. He jumped over a house on the other side of the street into the backyard. The house had no backyard fence, so he ran past the backyard into the hundred foot gap of the houses and the woods behind the houses. The ditch cut in between the gap, so Caleb had twenty-five feet of space to run as he was on the left side of the ditch. He sprinted to the backyard of his house.

When he got to the backyard of his house, his dog, Daisy, was missing. He went into his shed, first, to find the shovel to replace the desk leg for better damage. He then walked inside of his house from broken glass of the backyard door-slide slowly. Luckily, he didn’t find any zombies in any of the rooms after he checked. He only had one more room to go. It was his room. He walked in slowly.

Everything seemed normal in his room, except a few things were moved on the ground like his basket of dirty clothes and his old tank toy.

Suddenly, he heard something. Caleb held out his shovel to be ready; he got nervous. Then he found Kyle and Saint hiding in the sheets.

“Whew! God, you guys scared the crap out of me!” Caleb said in relief.

“Thank god you’re alive!” Kyle said.

“Yeah, we thought you were dead,” Saint said.

“Why didn’t you go to your house, Kyle?” Caleb asked.

“Dude, I don’t have the house key, and Kody never answered the door (Kyle’s big brother),” Kyle answered.

“Well, I saw how you guys got in. You guys owe me money after all this!” Caleb told them. “Anyway, do you know where Amanda went?” Caleb asked.

“Yeah, we saw her running down the street a few minutes ago,” Saint replied.

“We got to go get her!” Caleb said.

“Why?” Kyle asked surprised.

“I want to make sure she’s okay!” Caleb answered. “I got a bat behind my door,” Caleb pulled it out. “Saint can use it since he can swing a bat very well,” Caleb explained.

“Alright, we’ll go,” Saint said.

Caleb, Saint, and Kyle walked out slowly from the front door. There was only one zombie they saw on the street.

“Alright Saint, did she run right or left?” Caleb asked.

“Right, and then I saw her go down Cynthia,” Saint told him.

They ran to Cynthia and saw something. It wasn’t a zombie, but it was something bad. As they got closer, it was a vampire, but it was a zombie. It was lying on the ground.

“Wow a vampire!” Caleb said.

“Dude that thing is from the dead though!” Kyle said.

“A zompire?” Saint asked, “Okay, so there are two kinds of dead things walking around?” The zompire woke up and got up fast.

“Uh oh!” Caleb yelled.

“Get him!” Saint commanded. Caleb and Saint started to knock the zompire out with their bat and shovel while they could.

One minute later, the zompire finally died.

“Whew. Dude, that looks like Tori!” Kyle said.

“Good. She deserves it! Now let’s go,” Caleb said.

As they went down the street, killing zombies of course, they reached Joseph Street. In the sight, they found Raven hiding in the bushes.

“Raven!” Saint yelled. Saint dropped the bat and ran towards her. She saw him and smiled with a grin. They started hugging each other.

‘Something doesn’t look right. . .’ Kyle thought.

Suddenly, Caleb and Kyle saw Saint and Raven fall to the ground.

“Okay. . .” Caleb said.

Saint screeched as loud as he could. It was so loud that people miles away could hear him.

“Oh dude!” Caleb yelled.

Caleb and Kyle ran toward Saint and Raven and they saw Raven biting into Saint.

“Oh hell no!” Caleb yelled. Raven looked up then ran away. Caleb and Kyle ran to Saint.

“Wh-why m-m-me?” Saint stuttered and mumbled.

“Damn it! There are zombies, zompires, and vampires! Oh that’s great!” Kyle panicked.

“Kill. . . m-me, now!” Saint said.

“I. . . I just can’t!” Caleb told him.

“Caleb, you got to! He would rather have it that way! He’s in serious pain!” Kyle explained.

Caleb, sobbing, lifted up his shovel with his last words saying, “Bye Saint. . . I hope you’re going to be at a better place. Forgive me, God!” He then slammed the shovel into his face. He then dropped it, kneed on the ground, and cried.

“C’mon Caleb,” Kyle said as he picked up the bat. “We’re not stopping now.”

They needed to stop for a break. Kyle encouraged Caleb to get up so they can move on. He reminded Caleb that he did good for them and didn’t die without a good reason. Caleb looked up and saw Raven hopping over houses and breaking into one.

“We got to continue on Caleb,” Kyle reminded him.

Caleb sat up and wiped the tears from his eyes.

“I have to leave this shovel here,” Caleb said as he put it over Saint’s face.

“Rest in peace buddy,” Caleb said sadly as he looked at Saint and caught up with Kyle.

“We need to stop,” Kyle told Caleb. “What house you want to chill in?”

Caleb pointed to a green, dull house. “How about that one?” he asked.

“Looks okay, let’s go,” Kyle told him.

Kyle busted open the lock for the door. They walked inside the house slowly.

“Ugh, it smells in this house,” Caleb said.

"Yeah. . . it sure does," Kyle agreed.

Caleb sat on the couch and turned on the TV.

“We interrupt this program for a special report,” the news-reporter said.

“Kyle, come look at this!” Caleb said.

Kyle watches the TV like Caleb told him to do.

“There have been reports in the Waggaman area in Jefferson Parish that there are zombies, vampires, and more unknown creatures roaming around the area.”
“This is not good,” Kyle told Caleb.

“The military has ordered a mandatory evacuation for the Waggaman area and all houses 10 miles near the area. They are planning to drop nuclear bombs in the area.”

“Oh my God. . .” Caleb said slowly.

“This has confirmed to not be any prank call at all and has been witnessed and filmed on camera from a traffic helicopter.”

They started to show film from the copter. They were zooming in on Joseph Street, where they were, at the house they were staying in. It showed zombies all around the house. A few were even on the roof jumping and running around.

“Please notice that this film is live at the moment,” the reporter said.

“Damn it!” Caleb yelled and ran to make sure the door was locked.

“How they figured out we were here?” Kyle asked.

“I don’t know!” Caleb yelled in panic.

Kyle started throwing his ball up in the air. When he looked up, he didn’t care about the ball.

“C-Ca-Caleb. . .” Kyle started off.

“What?” Caleb asked.

“Look. . . up. . .” Kyle continued.

Caleb looked up and saw Dillon, a classmate, attached to the ceiling, dead and guts hanging.

“HOLY SH-” Caleb yelled until Kyle covered his mouth.

“Shhh. . .” Kyle whispered in low voice. “We don’t want any more zombies hearing us do you?”

Suddenly, somebody came into the living room.

“Look ou-” Kyle yelled until Caleb put his hand on his mouth. Then they noticed it was Clyde, one of Caleb’s friends.

“Woah, calm down Kyle,” Clyde said. Caleb put his hand off Kyle’s mouth.

“Shhh, be a little extra quiet,” Caleb whispered.

“Ugh, we forgot to check the rooms,” Kyle remembered.

“How did you get this far, Clyde?” Caleb asked.

“Er, I didn’t even go to class yet. I was in the bathroom, and Randel, for some reason, tried to actually bite me. Then, when I saw the Satan signs, I just ran for my life,” Clyde explained.

“Why didn’t you go to your house?” Kyle asked.

“Because it was too close to the school, and the school was where it was spreading from,” Clyde answered but continued. “So I ran out here.”

“Oh well. Saint was turning into a vampire so we killed him,” Kyle told him.

“We gotta get out of here, they just announced on the TV that the military is going to bomb the whole neighborhood!” Caleb explained until something walked into the living room.

“What the *censored*?" Clyde said.

“Ugh, it’s Demi, as a zombie,” Kyle told him.

“Alright Kyle, let’s beat the hell out of her!” Caleb commanded. Demi was walking slowly toward them.

“Woohoo! Go Caleb! Go Kyle!” Clyde cheered. Caleb started to punch Demi in her jaw, and then Kyle swung the bat into her legs to break them. When she fell to the ground, they started beating her.

“WOOHOO!” Clyde yelled.

Suddenly, Raven jumped onto the ground from a hole in the ceiling. Raven started to walk towards Caleb and Kyle.

“CALEB! KYLE! LOOK OUT!” Clyde yelled. Caleb and Kyle turned around.

“Oh crap!” Caleb yelled.

Suddenly, Raven stopped and said softly, “You have killed one of our enemies.”

“Really? Wait a second. Zombies are your enemies?” Kyle asked.

Raven nodded. “I thank you for being helpful humans, you shall help us defeat them,” she said.

Clyde’s head turned sideways and said, “Huuuhhh?” Caleb looked at Kyle to see if he agreed. Kyle nodded.

“Alright, we agreed to assist you and your vampires,” Caleb said.

“So, do you vampires have a place to stay or something?” Kyle asked.

“Yes, the fire department,” Raven answered.

‘Well that was a bad idea to go there,’ Caleb thought.

‘Wow, it was dumb to think about going there,’ Kyle thought.

‘I like pie,’ Clyde thought.

“Follow me, and your friend over there can come with you guys,” Raven said. "He will be useful too."

Clyde gulped as he wondered what she meant by ‘useful’.

“Don’t worry human, I mean by helpful,” Raven told him.

They walked into the backyard. When they went into the backyard, there were a couple of vampires from class like Dallen, Ryan, and Shaun. They started walking toward Caleb, Kyle, and Clyde.

Raven stuck her hand out and said, “Stop, they’re helping us out.” They stopped of course.

They jumped over the fences and were now on Azalea. Caleb and Kyle killed all the zombies who got in the way.

“Man, this is like Half-life 2!” Caleb commented after beating a zombie.

As they reached the Fire Department, there were zombies trying to get in. Caleb and Kyle killed once again as Clyde stayed behind them. Raven rang the doorbell that the vampires added to the department.

As one of the vampires answered, he looked behind Raven to see who they were.

“Who are they? Are they with you?” he asked.

“Yes, they’re going to help us,” Raven answered.

As they came in, there were loads of vampires side to side at tables. When they saw Caleb, Kyle, and Clyde, they stopped talking and stared at them as they walked across the place. A few licked their lips. Caleb started to sweat.

“These humans are here to help us. They mean no harm, so please don’t bite them,” Raven told them.

As Caleb, Kyle, and Clyde got nervous, Caleb said, “Yeah, here to help, we appreciate if you don’t,” Caleb gulped then continued, “bite us.”

When they walked into the boss’s office, they saw the boss looking the other way in its chair.

“Boss,” Raven called. The boss turned around, but had a mask on.

“Raven, what are you doing here?” the boss asked with a voice mask worn. “And why are there humans in my office?” he asked.

“They are here to-” Raven was answering until the boss interrupted.

“Help? They seem useless to me. Can I get their names?” Raven turned around to figure out their names.

“I’m Caleb,” Caleb said then pointed to Kyle and Clyde, “This is Kyle, and this is Clyde,” Caleb continued. Raven suddenly had a feeling she heard of those names before.

“Caleb, Kyle, and Clyde huh?” the boss asked.

“Yes,” Caleb answered.

“What are you guys, The Three Stooges?” the boss chuckled for a second.

“Alright, now, Caleb, you’re going to have a handgun since I can tell you’re good at aiming.” He tossed a handgun to Caleb.

Caleb looked at Clyde and grinned. “Told ya!”

“Kyle, you can have a spiked club. You remind me of a caveman.” He dropped it on the ground so Kyle can pick it up.

Clyde and Caleb started to laugh. Kyle rolled his eyes.

“And Clyde, you can have a flamethrower. Is that clear for you guys?” the boss told them. He handed the flamethrower to Clyde.

“Yes sir,” the three answered.

Before they walked out, Kyle asked, “How do you guys actually survive the sunlight?”

The boss looked at Kyle. “Sun-tan lotion can really be useful,” the boss answered with a smile.

As they walked out, the vampires stared at them.

“Excuse me. These humans are going to stay here. Again, no biting. They mean no harm to us. If you bite them, you’ll suffer a personal death from me,” Raven told them. “Come sit over here,” Raven told the three.

As they walked to the table, they sat down and then Caleb asked a question.

“Raven, don’t you remember us? School? Saint, your boyfriend?” he asked.

“Of course not! I was raised as a vampire from when I was young until today. I’ve never seen humans before until now, it’s our time again,” Raven answered.

Caleb, Kyle, and Clyde looked at each other.

“What do you mean by. . . yall’s time again?” Clyde asked.

“Every 4,000 years, vampires and zombies break loose onto Earth. We come from underground at the core of Earth. The invasion would end after ten years, unless we defeat the zombies or they defeat us. They’re actually our enemies. We fight about who’s land is who’s,” Raven explained.

Caleb, Kyle, and Clyde soon figured out that when she became a vampire, she forgot about everything when she was human and was replaced with false memories involving vampires. In summary, she was brain-washed.

“Well, we’re gonna go and find someone I care about. Her name is Amanda,” Caleb said.

As they got up and started walking toward the blood stand, Raven got up and said, “Wait!”

Caleb, Kyle, and Clyde turned around wondering what she wanted now.

Raven walked up to them and said, “I saw her before, but she ran. Her purse read Amanda.”

“Where did you find her?” Caleb asked.

“She was at this big field,” Raven told them.

“The gym. . .” Kyle said.

“Alright, we’re going to the gym to find her. Thanks,” Caleb told Raven.

“Well, good luck,” Raven said as they walked outside.

When they walked outside, it was clear, no zombies.

“Wow, this will be easy,” Caleb said.

“Yeah,” Clyde agreed.

When they walked a few steps, they heard a moan from a zombie. They looked to the left and saw one creeping over to them. It was going real slow.

Just to be funny, Caleb said, “What’s up?”

The zombie made a few more sounds as if he was getting angry.

“Nice day today, huh dude?” Caleb asked him as Kyle and Clyde started to laugh.

“Do you like fresh, warm, bullets for lunch?” Caleb added on as he stuck out his gun aiming at his face.

The zombie made a few sounds as he was panicking trying to say to not shoot him.

“Eat what you take!” Caleb said as he shot him in the face. The zombie then collapsed onto the ground.

All three of them started to laugh real hard as they started walking to the next street.

Three minutes later, they were almost there until they found another zompire.

“You got to me kidding me!” Caleb yelled.

This zompire was awake, and looked like a badass. Caleb took a couple of shots in the head, but it didn’t die. Clyde went up to it and started burning it. The flames did nothing to harm the zompire. The zompire started running toward them. They didn’t know what to do next. Caleb accidentally bumped into a pole as he was backing up, and knocked him out.

Caleb woke up thirty minutes later. As he opened his eyes, he saw Clyde on the side of him. As Caleb got up, he asked, “Where’s Kyle?”

Clyde answered him saying, “He ran into the woods and the zompire followed him.”

Caleb soon noticed they were outside of the gym.

“We’re here! Where’s my gun?” Caleb asked.

Clyde took it out of his pocket. “Got it right here,” he said. Caleb grabbed the gun and started walking into the gym.

“What time is it anyway?” Caleb asked.

“1:31 P.M.,” Clyde answered.

When they closed the gym door, it was pitch black. They saw a flashlight shining on the ground. Caleb picked it up and looked around. It was clear, nothing was wrong with it. When they got in the office, it was blood and zombie free.

“That’s odd. . .” Clyde commented.

As they went in the field, they found some footprints in the mud. It was the size of Amanda’s shoes. They followed it and it lead into the forest behind the gym.

“You ready Clyde?” Caleb asked.

“Yup,” Clyde replied.

When they entered the woods, the footprints disappeared.

“She has to be somewhere in this forest,” Caleb said.

“Crap, we forgot to ask Raven how long ago she saw her!” Clyde noticed.

“Doesn’t matter much,” Caleb told him. “We gotta keep searching!” he reminded him.

They started from the left of the forest to the right and from bottom to top. Before they were out of the forest, they found Amanda’s purse. They looked ahead and then. . .

“Oh my god. . .” Caleb said slowly.

They found her under a big branch on the ground.

“The branch must’ve fell,” Clyde said.

“No *censored*!” Caleb said with a little worry and anger mixed.

They ran to her and found out she was unconscious with cuts on her legs bleeding slightly.

“We gotta get her back to the Fire Department!” Caleb said in panic.

They pulled her out of the heavy branches.

“The street is right over there,” Clyde told Caleb.

They picked her up and started walking toward the street.

“You’re going to be okay Amanda! Trust me!” Caleb said to Amanda.

Before they reached the street, a zombie came out of nowhere.

“Awww c’mon!” Caleb complained.

Caleb and Clyde ran around the zombie carefully holding Amanda. When they reached the street, the Fire Department was right there.

As they rung the bell, the boss let them in. They set her on the table where they were sitting at.

Raven walked up and said, “I believe that’s her.”

“Do you guys have first aid?” Caleb asked.

“Yes. Where is Kyle?” Raven asked.

“He was getting chased after,” Clyde said.

“She doesn’t look good,” Caleb told them. “She has a lot of cuts.”

“Do you know what these cuts were from?” Raven asked.

“We believe she got them from the branch that fell on her,” Clyde answered.

“Alright, I’m going to get the case,” Raven said.

As she ran off to get the first aid case, Amanda was starting to wake up.

“Oh thank god!” Caleb said.

When she opened her eyes, they looked like a different color, but Caleb didn’t care about that at the time.

“Who. . . are you, and. . . you?”  Amanda mumbled. She got up and looked around.

Caleb started hugging her and said, “Thank God you’re okay!”

But Amanda didn’t remember him and didn’t know why he was hugging her. Clyde, who was behind Amanda, saw something on her neck. He looked closer to see what it was, then pulled her shirt only a little to see the whole thing, and noticed it was a bite mark. When Clyde touched the bite mark, Amanda suddenly turned around, jumped on him, and tried to ‘bite’ him.

“WHAT THE HELL! GET HER OFF OF ME!” Clyde yelled in panic, resisting from her biting him.

“OH CRAP!” Caleb yelled.

When Raven was coming back, she saw Amanda trying to bite Clyde. She dropped the case, ran to Amanda, and grabbed her off Clyde. Caleb didn’t know what was going on. As Clyde got up, Raven grabbed Amanda’s head, opened her mouth. And noticed that. . .

Raven turned around, doing the same thing, and said, “She’s a vampire.”

Caleb sat down, put his head down, and said, “We’re too late! After one or two were sacrificed, she’s now a vampire!” Caleb cried as he got louder. Tears started to go down his face.

“‘Now’? She had to be born as a vampire, there’s no way she turned into a vampire,” Raven told them.

“No, that’s not true,” Caleb said.

“There’s a bite mark from a vampire on her neck,” Clyde started out. “That caused her to form as one. Don’t you know that Raven?”

Raven did not know that happens, neither any of the other vampires.

“Oh. . . my god. . .” Raven said.

“Raven, can we talk to you somewhere private with us three?” Clyde asked.

“Okay,” Raven said still in shock.

As they walked in the bathroom, leaving Amanda out in the room where all the vampires were, Clyde started off.

“Raven, you were once human,” Raven started to shake her head.

“No, not true,” she said.

“It is,” Caleb told her, “Why you think you vampires look like humans? You were bitten by a vampire when you were a human, then changed to a vampire. It’s just like a virus!”

Raven started to cry, “No! This can’t be true!” she said.

“Why you think Amanda is a vampire now? She doesn’t even know us anymore!” Caleb said with a louder voice.

“When you became a vampire, we believe you lost all your memories of being human. We still remember you being human because we’re not vampires. You’ve been replaced with false memories,” Clyde explained, “just like every other vampire,” he continued.

Raven looked at her shoulder and said, “That. . . explains my bite mark.” Raven was in total shock, and fell to the floor crying. She cracked.

“We’re sorry this feels painful to you, but it’s true,” Caleb told her.

Clyde took out the newest yearbook out of his pocket and opened to the page where it showed her.

“Here’s some more proof,” Clyde said. He gave it to her and she looked. She noticed her face from her picture and started to remember everyone else’s.

“It’s all coming . . . back to me,” Raven said.

When they walked out of the bathroom five minutes later, Raven was still looking at the yearbook without a word.

“So what we do now?” Caleb asked.

“I have no clue,” Clyde replied.

Amanda saw them come out then ran toward them to try to bite Caleb and Clyde. She reached her hand out to grab Clyde’s neck, but Caleb suddenly grabbed the yearbook from Raven and put it in Amanda’s hand. Amanda stopped to see what it was.

Before she was going to talk, Caleb said, “Now before you bite, look at all the pages and see if it reminds you of anything.”

Amanda watched them walk away then started to look at the year book.

“Man, I can’t believe Amanda’s a vampire now. This ruins everything,” Caleb said. All the vampires looked at Caleb in silence. “No offense,” Caleb reminded them.

The three looked at the door and saw Kyle coming in. Kyle saw them and ran to them.

“Guys!” Kyle started off. “There are zombies coming from everywhere!”

Raven, Caleb, and Clyde looked out the sun-proof window.

“Oh snap!” Caleb said.

“They all followed me here!” Kyle explained.

There were zompires and zombies waiting outside.

“Well looks like the zompires took their side,” Clyde said disappointed.

They started hearing bangs on the metal door. All the vampires backed up and the boss walked out of the office.

“What’s going on here?” a voice said.

Caleb, Kyle, and Clyde turned around and saw the face. It was Craig, Clyde’s brother. Clyde went totally silent, shocked.

“We gotta get out of here!” Caleb yelled.

Clyde, Kyle, Caleb, and Raven started running toward the back door as the front broke open. All the zombies and zompires were rushing in.

As they went out the back, they jumped over to Samuel’s backyard, a friend of Caleb’s. They heard screams and yells from the fire department as they kept running. As they were running from yard to yard, Caleb spotted a shotgun and picked it up while still running.

“Head over to that house!” Caleb pointed it out. “I’ll take it from here.”

As the other three ran in the house, they shut the door, hearing shotgun shots from Caleb. Kyle and Clyde bent over to take some deep breaths.

“Ohhh *censored*!” Kyle said while making a big breath. Caleb ran up to the window.

“Stay in the house as long as you can! I’m coming back! Don’t worry!” he yelled loud enough for them to hear him.

As Caleb ran off, Raven turned around.

“Okay, now what we’re going to do? My species is about to be extinct, and we’re going to camp in here?” Raven complained.

“Well,” Clyde started off, “I know Caleb will make something happen,” he said.

“Yeah, I’m sure too,” Kyle agreed. They then heard the last gunshot from Caleb that they would ever hear.

It was an hour later, and Caleb never came back yet. They were sitting around as Kyle tried to get a satellite reception from the TV.

“Damn Direct TV!” Kyle yelled as he banged his fist on the TV.

“Calm down Kyle. Forget about the TV! We need to make a plan,” Clyde said.

Raven walked on the ceiling as she sighed. Then she got into a position of sleeping.

“Raven, what are you doing?” Kyle asked.

“Resting, it’s been a while since I slept so. . . yeah. I’m going to sleep,” Raven replied.

As Raven went to sleep, Kyle looked at Clyde. Kyle made wide eyes and passed out.

“Kyle? Kyle! Answer me!” Clyde said trying to wake him up.

Raven opened her eyes hearing Clyde.

“What’s wrong?” she said in worry.

“It’s Kyle.” Clyde answered in a rush. He then looked at his leg and he had a huge gash. He was dying from blood loss.

“He’s dying,” Clyde yelled.

Raven checked his pulse. There was nothing.

“He’s not dying,” Raven told him, “He’s dead.”

“No. . .no!” Clyde said with tears going down his eyes. “What can we do?!” he asked looking at Raven.

“There’s only one thing we can do. . .” Raven replied.

Clyde knew what she meant. She would have to turn him into a vampire so he would be alive again.

“Alright, just do it quick!” Clyde said. He didn’t want him to be a vampire, but it was the only way.

Raven then kneeled over and bit softly into his neck. She then bit herself so blood can go in the bite so Kyle would remember everything. She checked his pulse, and he was alive again but unconscious.

“It takes awhile for him to wake up and be a vampire,” Raven told Clyde as she looked at him. Clyde had his eyes covered.

“You finished yet?” Clyde asked.

“Of course!” Raven told him.

It was now 12:54 A.M.. Things were settled down outside. Zombies seemed they had bad vision at night, and vampires slept at night. Raven was asleep, and Clyde sat there on the couch waiting for Kyle to wake up.

Then, suddenly, there was a noise of the back windows busting. Raven awoke immediately and Clyde jumped up. They looked at the back door, and it was Casey, still alive, and holding a baseball a desk leg.

“What’s up Clyde, Kyle, and Raven. . .? Clyde do you know Raven’s a vampire?” Casey asked.

“Yeah, but she’s helping us out,” Clyde said.

“By the way, do any of you know WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?” Casey asked, “And what happened to Kyle?” he asked as he saw him on the ground unconscious.

“He died, so I had to resurrect him by making him a vampire. He never woke up yet,” Raven answered.

“Well, at least he isn’t dead,” Casey asked.

“Yeah, thank god Raven was here to do the job,” Clyde said.

“. . . You sure?” Casey said.

“Yessss. . . and it’s like one in the morning. What the hell Casey?” Clyde answered.

“What? Breaking a window ain’t so bad,” Casey told them.

“We gotta get out of here guys. We’re at the corner of Joseph and Dolorus, and we got a shattered window,” Raven explained.

“Yeah, you’re right,” Casey agreed. “By the way, there’s a car outside of the house. I wouldn’t go right now the fact that it’s DARK. You guys go to sleep, and I’ll be on the lookout.”

Raven and Clyde nodded. Raven climbed back on the ceiling, and Clyde went to sleep on the couch.

“And trust me guys, I had plenty of sleep until this whole incident happened.”

As Clyde, the one who woke up first, woke up, he heard someone chopping something. Clyde walked into the kitchen and saw Caleb cutting some carrots. Then he looked at the dining room door and saw dead zombies and blood.

“How was your sleep?” Casey asked.

“It was alright, just dreaming everything was back to normal,” Clyde answered.

“Yeah, I too wish this was back to normal. By the way, it’s nine in the morning if you wanted to know,” Casey said.

“Are you even tired?” Clyde asked.

“Well, yes. Now, it’s been awhile since I slept,” Casey answered.

“Oh, right,” Clyde told himself.

As Casey and Clyde were talking, they heard Kyle say, still unconscious, “Yeah, I would love the chocolate cake with the bacon on the si. . ." he said before his voice faded.

Casey shook his head, while cleaning out a cup, saying, "Heh, that boy still dreams about his cake and bacon."

Then the two started to hear Raven yawn and wake up.

“Ugh, what time is-” Raven said until she looked to her right and saw Saint hanging, sleeping, with her. “. . . Saint?” she said going off to a different sentence.

Saint opened his eyes and looked at her. Clyde was astonished the fact he didn’t see Saint.

“Oh by the way, Saint came by, of course trying to bite me. But, I-” Casey said until Clyde interrupted asking, “Does he know we’re on their side, like helping them?”

“Yes. . .” Casey answered.

“Good. Anyway, what are you making Casey?” Clyde asked.

“Oh, just chopping up some carrots. This house got no food! This is all I even found,” Casey answered. Clyde turned around and saw Raven and Saint staring at each other. Suddenly out of the distance. . .

“Raven! Raven! Raven!. . .” Everyone looked from where the sound came from and saw it was Kyle, still unconscious.

Everyone had their eyes wide open when they saw the noise was from Kyle. Then Saint’s jaw just dropped, getting a little angry.

“Well, let’s all pretend we did not hear that just now. . .” Casey said slowly.

“Yes. . .” Raven said slowly, too. They all agreed, still in shock, and a little anger in Saint.

“Saint, just let him dream on, cause that’s never gonna happen to him,” Casey said, laughing a little. They laughed for three seconds or so then stopped. There was a calm silence in the house until Casey said, “Well, you guys should just have some carrots for now. Save some for Kyle so he has something to eat when they wake up.”

Kyle suddenly woke up and said, “Anyone say my- AHHH MY TEETH! What happened to me?” Kyle was shocked. “I feel different. What a second, I’m a vampire! I knew you were a traitor, Raven!”

“I had to, or you’d be dead right now!” Raven said a little angry.

Clyde, interrupting the argument, said, “Anyway, have some carrots Kyle.”

Raven then looked back at Saint, and they immediately starting making out.

“Damn it, guys! You’re making me thirsty!” Kyle said.

“There are a few dead bodies out there Kyle, go help yourself!” Casey told him.

“I’ll wait,” Kyle replied.

Finally, Saint and Raven finished ‘making-out’. They all waited for Kyle to finish eating his carrots.

“So, where are we going to drive to?” Raven asked.

“Probably out of the neighborhood,” Casey guessed.

“I think we should go check out the fire department,” Clyde suggested.

“That’s a real bad idea,” Kyle said as he put the plate down.

“Damn right it is!” Casey agreed.

“Why?” Raven asked, finally speaking.

“Cause I know some zombies bit the vampires, which means zompires,” Clyde pointed out.

“. . . Yeah. We should get out of here and fast since there are plenty more zompires,” Casey said.

“So Kyle. . .” Clyde started out, “How you get away from the zompire?”

“Well I-” Kyle said until they all heard a sound on the roof.

“Oh crap,” Casey said in worry, “We need to get to the car now! Quick, through the door!”

As they ran outside, they looked to their left and saw some zompires down the street. They looked and the car door was open, and the keys were on the seat.

“In the car, now!” Casey yelled, “I’ll drive.”

The zompires heard them, and started to chase them. While Kyle got in the passenger seat, the others jumped in the back. Casey got in and started the car. They noticed the zompires were coming fast.

“TAKE THIS MOTHER FU-” Casey yelled until they peeled out onto the street.

The zompires and the car were racing towards each other. Casey was trying to run them over. Right before he hit them, the zompires jumped right into the air, attempting to jump on the roof of the car but failed.

“Woooooo!” Kyle yelled cheerfully.

As they drove off onto Azalea Street, going left, Clyde asked, “Since when you knew how to drive?”

“Internet,” Casey answered while driving.

“Oh, yeah. Right.” Clyde pointed out.

While Casey was driving, Kyle took a CD out of his pocket, & put it into the CD player in the radio. It started to play.

“Green Day?” Clyde asked.

“Yup, it sure is,” Saint said. Everyone went into silence.

“You finally talked,” Clyde said.

As they were looking at all the zombies, vampires, and zompires, Casey turned to the right to reach River Road.

“We need to hurry! I see the military planes! They’re going to drop the bombs! Go, go, go! Speed up to 140 miles per hour if you have to!”

Casey listened. The speed went up and up until it went to max. Clyde looked behind to see the military dropping a bomb into the woods behind the neighborhood. They all heard an enormous sound that made them all turn around except Casey who needed to look out on the road. It was clear on the road though. The only things that were on the road were zombies, zompires, and vampires.

“Hurry!” Raven said in panic.

“I’m going as fast as this piece of *censored* can!” Casey yelled.

Another bomb was dropped into one half of the neighborhood from Jeffer Drive to Joseph Street. The explosions were coming closer.

“Oh god we’re not gonna make it!” Kyle said.

“Don’t say that! We still can!” Raven told Kyle loudly.

Another bomb covered the rest of the neighborhood. It was in pieces. A big piece from a roof landed on the windshield.

“Oh *censored*!” Casey said while swerving to try to get the piece off of the windshield.

Then another bomb hit the outside of the neighborhood. It was right near them. The wave of fire from the explosion started to come to them real quickly.

“I’m sorry! We’re not gonna make it! I’m real sorry!” Casey said panicking much with tears going down his eyes as he continued to drive.

Clyde then saw a zombie from the back of the car getting up. It then bit right into Clyde’s shoulder and started ripping guts out of him.

Raven started to hug Saint in fear. Just then, the explosion covered them up, and everything went black.

Uh, no. I typed it one night in the summer in 2005. I was severely bored and wanted to let out my imagination.
