It looks to me like there were three of them. I'm going to just copy-paste from wikipedia about them.
...
EDIT - The second two games actually play as Zelda instead of Link. It's a great idea, but... They screwed it over.

Actually, only 2 made it to the production line and out the door. Zelda's Adventure and The Faces of Evil. Check NP if u think I'm wrong.

P.S. Most of time I am but I think I'm right this time! >,<

1. Please, DO NOT quote a post that big! EVER! You don't need to quote an entire post!

2. You are wrong this time, like it or not. All my sources say that all three were published.

. In 1993 Philips Interactive Media published Zelda: Wand of Gamelon, and Link: Faces of Evil, two Zelda-based games that were created by developer Animation Magic and were somewhat in the sidescrolling style of Nintendo's own Adventure of Link. Later, in 1995, Philips Interactive Media published a third game, Zelda's Adventure, which was developed by Viridis Corporation, and was in the overhead style of gameplay that most 2D Zelda games use.

Link: The Faces of Evil, released in 1993 for Philips’ CD-i system, is the only one of three Zelda games for the CD-i system in which Link is the protagonist...
There were two other Legend of Zelda games released for the CD-i; Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon and Zelda’s Adventure. However, in both games Princess Zelda was the protagonist, as in both games the plot involves Link’s kidnapping.

I'd like to see the Nintendo Power stuff you're talking about.

Maybe you were thinking of the Oracle games, and you got mixed up. (You know, how there was supposed to be a third one that got cancelled and all...?)

Actually I think I remember it saying there were a couple of cd-i games but I can't exactly remember...

Do you have any more info. on this cancelled oracle game? Maybe the oracle's name was Forare (sp?) since the other two were Nayru (sp?) and Din.

Yes, the last one was Farore. They instead just put her in the Maku Tree to help with codes and connections between the two games.

^ There's the wiki on the third game that got cancelled, and on what the trilogy would have been like.

-_-

The bird girl is a Rito, and she's called Medli.

The "Kokiri" guy is a Korok, and he's called Makar.

The bird with the fruit is a seagull.

Don't forget the Gods in the Tower of the Gods!
