As I see they're alot of prequels and sequels to the Zelda games, here I will try to explain this time line. Link 1. Legend of Zelda---Adventure of link------(End of Link 1) As I see, the first 2 realeased Zelda games are in fact the first in the time line. Link 2. A link to the past----(End of Link 2) In this game I'm sure it goes from Adventure of Link to Link to The Past, because we Zelda calls Link she sences some relation between him and the antient Link. Link 3: Ocarina of Time---(End of Link 3) Majora's mask The reason Link 3 dies after the Ocarina of time is when Navi leaves and Link goes searching for her, when he falls down the hole he doesn't actualy leave Hyrule. My hypothisis is that when link fell down the hole he infact had died and was just remebering his past. Like when Skull Kid turned him into a Deku Shrub, he felt like that when he thought he was nothing, when Sarah knew Link wasn't a Korkiri and he had to leave she game him the Fairy Ocarina and Link didn't feel like a Deku anymore he knew he could do somthing to save Hyrule. The Majora's mask is in fact Ganondorf, who is the king of evil, but when he got the Triforce it's like he put the Majora's mask on. Ganondorf was in fact evil, but Ganon took over him during your second fight with Ganondorf, both Ganons were sealed and Zelda sent Link back in time using a Ocarina, but she thought Ganon would be still sealed but she was wrong wich brings us to the Little Side Quests Link faced. Link 4 Seasons---Ages---Links Awakening--(End of Link 4) When the new Link saw the Triforce of the Palm of his left hand he new he had to go to the Triforce after that Link was transported to the other worlds. Were he meet Zelda (again) and after you beat both the Seasons and Ages and use the codes, you see a small cut seen were link goes on a raft to the sea were he finds himself in Links Awakening, were I think Hyrule was already flooded over the peroid of time That separates Oot and MM from WW. Link 5: Wind Waker---???? Link 5 is in fact the Wind Waker link, I still don't know wiether Twilight Princess is a prequel and sequel to Wind Waker. Hopefully it'll explain the Gaps between Link 3, 4, and 5. |

Well, I don't really read the news about the Zelda games anymore. This time line is a little out-of-date. Still it's pretty good, well to me it is. :nervous: |

OoT was originally supposed to be a remake of Zelda I. They changed it totally. I personally would like to see a remake. |

MM is the same Link as OOT, as you explained. BUT. WW is a sequal in the future of OOT and MM. It explains it in the beginning: Long ago, hero of time, blah blah. It's not the same Link, but it's the same Hyrule and all that stuff. (Reincarnated?) |

And your point is? He's a different person, but it doesn't mean he can't be reincarnated. It totally sounds like Zelda was. I don't exactly agree with your hypothesis for OOT and MM. I think it's a bit more simple than that - just watch the intros for MM and WW. Okay, basically, OOT happens. Navi is gone, and Link is riding Epona around. The Skull Kid steals Epona and all that, and you somehow end up in Termina. Well, Link doesn't find his way home to Hyrule after MM. Thus we go to the intro of WW. It says that after the Hero of Time sealed away the Great Evil that is Ganon, the world was at peace and everyone was happy. But, somehow, Ganon got freed from his lock in the Sacred Realm, and returned to scour Hyrule. BUT, Link was locked away in Termina, and couldn't return. "The people prayed for the Hero of Time to return and save them. They waited and waited... But the Hero of Time... Did not return." Thus, WW. |

he didn't get locked in termina, if you beat the game, he leaves, and the only reason he goes to termina is to see the person he pledged friendship to in OoT, which just so happens to be... skullkid! |

1. Do you remember the beginning of the game? The skull kid stole Epona and Link fell into Termina - NOT WILLING! :o Plus, Link didn't even remember that it was the Skullkid he gave the mask to until they met face to face in the end, and Skull Kid said something about him smelling familiar. 2. It shows Link leave with Epona. It doesn't show him going back to Hyrule. |

He dies. He was already dead because he fell. It was a 'dream'. Thanks for telling me Sprotret, now I'm sad. :( |

That was hypothesis. Unless you can find some truth from Miyamoto or something, it's not for certain. That's a weird dying dream. 24 masks as his dying wish? WTF? |
