ALTTP basically was the start of Zelda as we know it (master sword etc and the classic formula), and in my personal opinion it was the start of the true Zeldas (my opinion XD)

Yeah same, it's up there with the SNES all time greats, Super Mario World, Mario Kart and the Donkey Kong Countries

It's a classic, but innovative game. I'd put it near Kirby Superstar and Mario RPG.

I've not played either of those, especially since Mario RPG wasn't released in Europe.

Oh did you know there was an adaption for ALTTP? It was online and it was released in Japan only, you also had a time limit <_<

ALTTP isn't that long. Plus, isn't it a good thing when a game is long and not too repetitive?

I find alttp very good and it holds it's own against the new 3d zelda games, BUT i find the boss battles to be very crappy whereas on OoT, MM and WW i love the bosses, the fighting is awesome
