It's 12:02 in the morning at the moment, now Monday. No problem though; thanks to Spring Break, I'm off this whole week. Not much to do, but it's better than not doing much while in school. Speaking of school, we'll only have 5 weeks left when we come back (including weekends). The challenge is: there won't be another vacation in between, and I can't miss one more day (or else I'll X out). Yeah. I missed 6 days this semester before my third nine-weeks was even finished. (You can't miss any more than 6 each semester.) Five weeks, wow man. Quickest year I've ever had. And summer, boy do I love it. The climate (once I'm used to the humidity and heat, lol), sunsets, and my sleeping habits... Boy does that flip upside down during the summer! I took a quick look at a few blogs from the summer of '07 and took the time to remember my last summer (since the blogs have been erased XD). Each one is a trip, I tell ya. Summer of '07 was more of online communication on games (with my sleeping schedule reversed, of course) and watching movies and shows over the internet, while summer '08 was me just sitting on the Internet every night, listening to soothing techno and thinking about some girl. Damn, was that pathetic, being obsessed over a girl... I feel embarrassed thinking about it. Anyhow, I did get some nice outdoors before I started sleeping during daytime. Sunsets were real nice. Sometimes I would wake up right before the sunset and have a quick glance outside before it went by. I'm not really expecting to change my plans for that this upcoming summer. It was really relaxing to be sitting on my computer all night. Talking to friends on games, got the techno/trace going on. At one point, I had to struggle to bring my sleeping habits back to normal. Thing that really make that summer feel smoother was the obsessive love I had going on for this girl. That's one hell of an emotion. It numbed my nerves and kept it at a stable, relaxed, happy mood. Anyone who read those summer blogs back then would've thought at some point that I was smoking something while I was writing them. Yeah, I understand not many people read this (even some of the only ones who visit here now). It seems like I'm just typing this to myself sometimes, just to keep a journal for myself so I can look back on it later on. Opinions/replies are appreciated though (especially from such a half-dead forum). But anyway, it's going to be a mix of summer '07 and '08. Watching sunsets, watching movies/shows on the Internet, while keeping the nights mellow with trance. Who knows, maybe something will be different this year. Has to be. Can't wait to see what's in store. There's a reason I can contrast the summers, you know. |
