Burned makes a valid point. While I won't dispute FDR was a good president. I think his programs alleviated the symptoms rather than cure the proverbial cold. I'll make another point. Continued deficit spending got us here in the first place. When you deficit spend, you must also pay back. That's the basics of the economic policies we run. What happened to keynesian economics? Did we just throw out his "second part" to his economic plan?
