I think Bush and Thompson are smart, not so sure about Palin. So I'll go with Palin. I really think it lost him more votes than it gained, to be honest. While there were plenty of people being all "OH MY GOD I LOVE PALIN," I think the majority of them were already voting for McCain anyway... I guess there's no real way to tell, but I think she lost him more votes than he would've had. Or, at least, she gained him a lot less votes than a better VP would have.
