I've been doing some research lately on the connection between the two. Seems pretty interesting. What do you guys think? I should point out, the idea isn't that all the dinosaurs sprouted wings and flew off. The idea is that certain smaller dinosaurs changed in such a way to allow this, while most probably died off from other means. There are many fossils that have been discovered with feathers, and there are many fossils in-between. It's an interesting thought, and I think a lot (if not most) scientists accept that a particular species of dinosaur did indeed evolve in such a way. Note: If you don't believe in evolution, then you can maybe try thinking about it from an evolutionary perspective, otherwise please just leave the topic alone. This isn't an "Evolution or Creationism LOLS" topic, and that topic has been done to death. This topic is about the hypothesis of whether birds are descended from dinosaurs or not. If you don't believe in it, that's fine and peachy, but this topic is discussing an evolutionary theory. You can go make a topic on Noah and I'll come talk in it from a Biblical/historical perspective instead of saying "OH MAY GOD I'S NOT CHRISTIAN LOLS." Please show such respect here, or else just ignore the topic. |
