Mario 64 is quite decent but what the hell happened to Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy? I found that the Gamecube and Wii Mario games suck!

*cut*

Zelda on the other hand is just purity at its best! The 2-D games are just brilliant and when they adapted the games to a new whole 3-D aspect, the developers thought about putting love into the games as well as making money. (Obviously they've got to make money from this.)

Wut. The new Mario games are awesome just as they used to be.

"The developers thought about putting love in blah blah"

Yeah, I think the creators put as much love into the new Zelda games as they put into newer Mario games, too.

I'd say SMG was good. Maybe better than WW.

TP lacked rewarding sidequests. The magic armor is useless if you know how to dodge and the reward for getting all the poe souls is useless, after getting the magic armor you don't need money for anything but using it for said armor anyway.

QFT, yo. Actually, TP just full-out lacked side-quests. More plz.

I agree with everything else FM said, also.

Are those minor gripes really worth throwing out the baby with the bathwater?

This brings to mind your review of SMG.

Anyway. I can't say WW (obviously, everyone gripes about WW) or TP are that great. My problem with TP was that the dungeons took about five minutes. Look at the Temple of Time dungeon, for example. It's 100% straight-foreward. The only reason it has like ten levels to the map is because half of the levels are just a ton of steps. They didn't spend nearly enough time on the dungeons. They're extremely short. Even if I go back and play OOT/MM/etc, and I know the dungeons completely, they still take a while. TP doesn't. Shortest dungeons I've ever seen in a Zelda game, really.
