December 6th, 2007 Lucid Dream 1: This dream began, with me already (somehow) knowing that I was dreaming. I was in my house, in the dining room. Just as I was lucid, my dream starts to fade from me just shocked how it's been so long since my last lucid dream. But then, before I could, I remembered a member from DreamViews stating how using your senses lightens up the dream, so it can't fade away. Immediately, I rubbed my hands against the glass door that leads into my backyard. I felt the senses I received, and it felt as real as it would in real life. I also looked outside to take a peek. It was daytime, but no sunshine, due to an overcast. (Odd that I always have cloudy weather in my dreams.) Amazed about my senses, I walked into my bedroom, and decided to play with my dream a little. I started commanding random things, such as flowers going on the carpet floor, right next to my bunk bed. Many kinds of flowers I commanded to grow grew (such as Tulips and Roses). Every command I ordered came true, because I absolutely believed my wishes were to come true in my dream world. So I walk around my house, making random stuff appear. (One thing I remember making is an exercise ball in my living room.) Throughout my journey walking through the house, I kept rubbing my hands furiously to feel friction (using senses so my dream stays alive). This technique absolutely worked. By the time I got to the kitchen, I decided to cook up some food. Magically, I pulled out food out of nowhere, and I stuck it in the microwave. Then, I simply turned it on. I walked away, journeying the rest of my house. I walked into the master bedroom (parents' bedroom) and walked out, only observing. After that, I walked back to the microwave. A little impatient for my food to cook up, I pressed the button to release the microwave door to get my food. But when I pressed the button, the microwave wouldn't stop. It just kept going. I was getting worried to the point where I was afraid my dream would try to turn into a nightmare, but I calmed myself down and just walked away. Walking back into my bedroom, and standing next to the closet, I noticed how extremely vivid my dream was, because everything around me looked so real. It was to the point where my dream vision and real-life vision were exactly the same, and I couldn't tell a difference. The whole dream was vivid, which amazed me. Then, the thought of waking up came to me. I didn't stop me from waking up, though, because a lucid dream like this was good enough for me. (It was an odd coincidence how I was thinking of my "dry spell" before I went to sleep. A dry spell is a period where you never have any lucid dreams. Funny how I thought about it that night and then had a lucid dream.) |
