You did not just diss TP. I know you didn't, because if you did, you will regret saying that.

Now, as for orchestration, they transition well. Have you ever played a game with orchestration in it? Final Fantasy does a dang good job of it.

Voice acting would be awesome for all the other characters. The problem with Navi is he flew around with you EVERYWHERE and would point out obvious tips like "Use your shield to defend!" Imagine TP with voice acting, and alot of the characters would be brought to life even more so.

Anyway, I have no problem with change. As far as Windwaker, the art style fit well with the sailing theme, but guess what? I didn't like the sailing theme. I really don't like water in my adventure games at all, actually...

As for Majora's Mask, I loved it.

Anyway, let's be honest here, Windwaker and MM didn't "revolutionize" Zelda. You still go to the dungeon, do random puzzles, find mini-boss, beat mini-boss, get new item, use that new item to progress in the dungeon, beat the boss with the new item. Same old tired formula.

Zelda II, I didn't play much, to be honest. But that was like...83 years ago. Give people a break, sheesh.

Hyrule field was beautiful and full of potential though. Perhaps if they plugged in random people in the field to make you do random quests for stuff a la Elder Scrolls.

As far as the sea...it was a sea. Sure you could fish and stuff, but it felt really restrictive, to me at least. Sailing for two hours to an island where I could actually do something and praying that those random sharks don't attack me, yeah, not my style.

And lastly...

"Maybe if you wanted them to change Zelda, you'd let them for once. Think about that. They listen to the fans."

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...

I'm sorry, I meant to say, if you've been paying attention to Nintendo news as of late, Nintendo doesn't care about the hardcore gamer anymore, or so it appears. No voice chat, crappy online (Xbox did better), a slew of bad casual games and mini-games replacing good core games (See: Project H.A.M.M.E.R.), and Miyamoto pretty much said there's not a market anymore for big epic games like TP.

The moment they dump Smash Bros. for mini-games, I'm jumping ship.

So, yeah, my thoughts. Zelda desperately needs CORE change. Not a gimmick, a serious change.

Maybe a jump to the future would do Zelda good...
