A glitch is something that happens ingame, normally when you bypass a certain trigger event(such as map clipping, bomb explosions etc). Crooked Cartage would go under game modification, same as CD streaming for Twilight princess, Since you are messing with the game disc or cartage in CC case. Okay, whatever. Most people don't really care about the technical terms, it's just changing things around in the game that you normally wouldn't be able to do. Different ways, same thing, woo-hoo. I can't remember exactly, but I believe that the older editions where you can do Swordless Link also show red blood instead of green from Ganon.
