I played Kirby for the old school Game Boy. I haven't played most of them much, and never played Kid Icarus. Still, it's hard to believe someone wouldn't know those characters without playing the game. It's like being a Nintendo-gamer, never playing Mario, but still not knowing who he is. Regular real gamers usually know the popular games without playing them.
