Wario Ware: Smooth Moves Review By Wii.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves
Nintendo Wii
Release Date: Out Now!
Introduction

Wario Ware... Doesn't seem like five minutes ago since Wario was parading round our handhelds and home consoles with his cheeky moustache and his brain boggling mini games but he is back with one of the most random and certainly one of the best games to grace the face of the Wii at the moment. But why?

Explaining Wario Ware is very tricky and it is hard trying to put across that this game isnt boring as hell. Basically, Wario ware is just a collection of hilarious and damn random 5 second ''Mega mini games''. Interested? Thought not. But what Makes every Wario ware game is just its plain character and this one isn’t any different.

So What’s Going On

The host of the game, our ol' faithful Wario is chomping down a collection of high cal, high sugar snacks when a little scamp steals Wario’s food. Wario soon gets angry and chases after the monkey, arriving at the sacred palace of the "Form Baton" which strangely resembles a Wiimote. Nevertheless, Wario decides he must have it and upon picking it he is immediately chased by the boulder, this is where the fun begins...

About the games

The games are split up into a variety of categories, all based upon how you hold the wiimote. There is the standard ''Remote'' way of holding the wiimote ranging all the way to holding it to your nose in an ''Elephant'' stance and there is even the 'Tug of war'' stance. All of the stances, apart from the obvious ones are incredibly unique and well thought up. Most of the stances I never knew existed!

But the games are what makes a Wario ware game and this game is no exception to the high standards of its predecessors. There are over 200 five second mini games all of which are unique and most of the are new with some of the old fan favourites making an appearance. In addition to the wacky mini games there is also a load of unlockable games what open up on the map after completing certain levels.

Each character has their own basic set of mini games all of which incorporate the wiimote in such zany ways you'll wonder what twisted man thought up all of the mini games. And believe me, even if your a first time player, you’ll either be having fits laughing or batting the wiimote around like a madman because of the brilliant array of random and hilarious mini games.

Meet The Cast

Some of the original gang of Wario ware are back and if you’ve played any of the games before you’ll certainly notice the old crew. But all of them look highly polished and very well redesigned. And even for a Wii game, it does look superb! The cast take part in their own sequence and mini games so for each character you’ll play different games using the different stances of the Wiimote.

Sounds great...But?

WarioWare : Smooth Moves is personally, one of the best party games I’ve ever seen. The immense array of mini games is mind boggling and the imagination of Nintendo really shines here. This is a one off thing you see once in a Blue moon. The game is a little tedius in places and you do get cramp from waving your arms about. But the one thing that really does let this game down is its incredible shortness. I’ve played this game for about 2 hours now and already i have unlocked most of the games and played as most of the characters. But still, with the huge array and amount of mini games and the replay value of most premiership football matches I think Nintendo have really pulled this one off. Don’t think you’ll be disappointed. You’ll be wishing you’d got it earlier.

Overall

The best collection of mini games is back and it certainly lives up to its expectations Pros: - Over 200 mini games and loads more extras - Fantastic Replay Value - The best party game ever Cons: - Very short - Gets tedious in places - You’ll wet yourself a lot... Mainly due to laughing… a lot Score: (Out of 10) 8/10

[Gilmer's Spelling is so bad, he] probably thinks the "Holocaust" is a type of holographic pokemon card.

Remember... Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my uncle Jack off a horse.." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse.."
