Alright, seeing as it is becoming more and more likely that we will be upgrading at some point in the near future we would like to know which you would prefer we switched to- Vbulletin or Invision power board. I'm sure you are all familiar with sites based on both systems- so let us know which one you prefer! (If you don't know what one of them is just let us know and we can provide links to forums running this software.) (Of course, they'll be gardening oriented forums because we don't want to lose you guys. :P ) |

I like VBulletin better. EDIT: On second thought, IPB is closer to this style, so people would probably like it cause of its easier transfer. IPB would be a better choice. Edited by Dude2000, Oct 16 2008, 06:58 PM.

To be, or not to be: that is the question. To die, to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause. That makes calamity of so long life, for who would bear the whips and scorns of time when he himself might his quietus make with a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death, the undiscover'd country from whose bourn no traveller returns, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear those ills we have than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all... | |

Go for IPB. I've been to a couple sites that was hosted by IPB and they have interesting functions. |

IPB while I like VBulletin, IPB is more similar to the current form of the site than it would be on VBulletin. |

I happen to like invision more. From all the forums I go on, it seems to be more stable. |

Doing some resource, while it is great apparently Vbulletin is also a major resource hog that could quickly eat up our server's bandwidth. While eventually we may reach the point where we could buy a dedicated server (Oh we can dream... maybe if we grow to the size of Nsider2- couldn't be that hard... get the server... software, we already have awesome members- get more awesome members- purchase a few more URLs that are pretty well ranked and point them to our site... then *poof* we are big- then we sparta kick our competitors. |

Indeed, we could be quite a challenging competitor against NSider2 (with us being more strict in rules. Than again people probably prefer to go to a forum with poor moderation... <_< ). |

We could easily take up in the "race." I support invision because through the number of forums I've been on, I prefer invision far and away above the others. |
