At least compared to Falco's and Fox's. Wolf is my favorite new character besides Ike. I've been playing with him a lot lately because he's such a technical character! I was seriously expecting him to be a heavyweight with big massive damage-dealer attacks, that while obviously the same as the the other two SF combatants, would be slower and more powerful. However, it turns out that his A-button moves and combos are a LOT weaker than Fox's or Falco's, same with his up-B, side-B and reflector and laser. I've had to practice with him constantly to time his dash and launch moves so they hit the opponent at the very end of the move to get the greater knockback bonus and damage, otherwise they do hardly anything. The same with his A combos; it takes me several normal A attacks and a few strong A attacks to do the damage Fox can do with his normal A combo! So who agrees with me; is Wolf's power level unbalanced? (...) |

Well, I knew that some characters do more damage than others, but it's strange that Wolf is basically weaker than Fox and Falco. :raiseibrow: |

You have to remember, all Wolf ever did in his respective game was pilot a ship(was there a "dark landmaster" before SSBB?), so he really shouldn't even be able to fight beyond his blaster and final smash. That goes for Fox and Falco too. |

Yes but they did make him slower so He should be more powerful :\ I think his UP A smash is his most powerful attack... |

I don't think that Wolf in underpowered at all. I also like his gun more than the other two. |

The thing is that he his side attacks don't LAUNCH anybody, only his down smash and his up smash can KO someone when they are at like 60-70%. But I guess thats the price you have to play with the best character in the game.. :P |

He is really powerfull, but it takes a lot of practice to get good with him. I'm not fond of wolf myself. His attacks are way too weak IMO (I go for power hitters). |

wolf only has like 3 good moves to KO but if your good enough you can use the others moves to weak the foe and KO him/her with a good one. |

That's interesting, because and Dojo website classifies Wolf as a heavyweight character because says that he is stronger than both Fox because Falco. |

I wonder what the hell sakurai was thinking when he made a heavyweight character that has a less powerful side smash than jigglypuff... |
