Well, The reason im asking this is that I actually pick that it is a failure. Heres some reasons: 1. THIS GAME IS WAY TOO EASY! 2. Couldve added TONS of more sstages that are already in Adventure mode, but didnt even bother... 3. Couldve worked harder on a few things (really...) 4. No surprising new characters in the game. About all of them were mentioned nearly all over the web 5. Took so long to come out... and this happens... If you want me to explain any of these then I will. Heres some explaination: I unlocked all the characters in less than half a day. LESS THAN half a day. I have almost all the stages, and if I really want to, I could get them all VERY quickly, but I want this game to LAST a while. Idont want to accidently unlock them all and ruin it. Also, I havn't even gotten all the stages in MELEE! Its CHALLENGING (Unlike brawl) And doesnt it take 950 brawls to unlock Mewtwo? Well, the most it takes to unlock a character is 400 somthin! (I think) Well, see? I cant believe they goofed at the last second. And the other thing is, I am having trouble getting INTO battles! It wont let me! But wifi sure works, since I can connect to it.. HMMM... |

you cant even consider any of that.. go to wi-fi then if your still not satisfied, be the first to trade it in.. its very sad you said that. The coding, the graphics, and by god, you sit there and laugh, if you want a challenge dont even bother 5327-0571-0955 Moops is my name, dont ask lol |

If it's too easy, play it again on Intense. Beat it, then unlock everything. EVERY LAST THING. Every song. Every trophy. Every sticker. When you've done that, come back, and then you can say it was too easy. Also, get over yourself about the characters. Do you know how much work goes into making just one level of the SSE? With that big of a storylin, plus 35 playable characters, plus every single trophy known to man, you consider it THEIR fault that they didn't add more characters? >_< As for SURPRISING characters, Snake wasn't surprising? |

I see Snake as the only surprising really. The rest were Brawl material and I bet the couldve been in Melee if Nintendo ACCEPTED Pit and Snake at the time. Snake and Pit couldve been in Melee. Pit couldve been in 64. But really, this is what happened: 1. A few people on Nsider wanted them 2. Everyone waited a month or so 3. They were announced That happened with SOME characters (not Geno) But The last characters to get are Toon Link and Wolf. And Wolf is.. SORTA surprising in a way. Toon Link: clone unfortionatly. Wolf: Ok. But a character like Mr. Game and Watch, who has moves that arent close to any other characters moves. I say ROB shouldve been exactly in Wolfs place, but u play Boss BAttles with MR. Game and Watch. And wolf would be unlocked somewhere else. I see what Nintendo did now. They made the characters easy to get so that u could then do wifi... and pay the CHARGES that they might be charging soon! You know what, forget this. I just want a challenging game like Melee. I was just hoping so much for a good game like this with a challenge. You know, Nintendo is slipping with the games. Soon other complanies are going to pass them in about... idk 40 years? 50? But I suspect it happening. Unless they make more challenging games. Which I find easy to make challenging games. |

Whaaat?! You think Nintendo is slipping?! None of the competetors are even close to how good Nintendo is doing with games, IMO. [/rant] Anyway... I love Brawl, they seemed to put a lot of effort into it. I don't think it was a failure at all. |

They've already told us that they won't be charging us for Brawl. For Mario Kart, yes, but for Brawl, no. You obviously haven't completed every challenge, every event, every target match, everything, if it took you only that long to get "everything." I've been playing for 3 hours in all and I'm only 30% of the way through SSE on Normal. |

Umm... Nintendo is slipping in their games. Galaxy was very fun, but I didn't really get anything out of it. Twilight Princess was great, but there is absolutely no replay value. Metroid Prime 3 is pretty good, nothing really wrong with this one. Back in the SNES and N64 games, Nintendo was known for PHENOMENAL games. Now, the games are either mediocre or generally good. As for other consoles not even being close to Nintendo's current success? Well, I take it you haven't played Bioshock, Halo 3, Gears of War, or Call of Duty 4. IMO, these are some of the best games I've played, and they all have amazing replay value. Keep in mind, I was a 100% Nintendo fanboy up until about a month ago. But when it comes down to it, Brawl is far from a failure. At least from what I've seen/heard/played. |

I must say Brawl is good, but you can't get the perfect game. Hey, it's Nintendo, some of us (including me) hate them but you have no choice but to buy Brawl and play it to be up to date and have something new besides the OLd Melee. Also, if you unlocked all characters do you mind telling me how to get Jigglypuff, Wolf and Toon Link ? Thanks ! |

Let me get this straight.. Every reason you gave that says Brawl is a failure is a stupid one. Too easy? Play ONLINE! If they added more, they probably would've had to take stuff out! Worked harder on what? There were a lot of surprises, including ROB. And of course all of the them were mentioned on the web, that always happens. And the last one...it's a failure because it took too long to come out? If it didn't, you probably would have been complaining even more. And thus I end my rant* (* This rant is in no way to insult anyone who agrees with it. Thank you!) |

I understand your reasoning, I just don't agree with it. It's far from a failure, and I'm usually pretty harsh on games, especially the popular ones. I'll flat out admit it's far from perfect, but it's still an enjoyable game. A game is only a failure if it's not fun to play, so hard it's to the point of being cheap, or so easy that a gorilla chewing on the controller could win. This game has varying difficulty and enjoyable to play even with it's faults. |

I wouldn't say failure, biggest letdown of the year for sure, but I knew that. It is wussingly easy, yet frustratingly dificult, You blend into background to often and lose where you are and all the items are little specks you can't diferentiate, I had to turn off about 1/4 of the items because they all look alike, they too get lost in the background, it's like trying to be an eagle, you spot everything and swoop down to see which tiny thing it is. It also has made items like swords and bats useless, while you smashing they can walk up and cassually grab you, yet I was playing classic on hard, and barely broke a sweat, I only died because of hidden instant ko items. |

If Brawl is too easy, then try Intense Mode!
