professor's log, entry #86, 1/1/07 "it is the new year, and the subjects have been showing no progress. it's already been a year, and still nothing. they react the same as they did before, they behave the same as before... it's getting frustrating. Charles felt sorry for them... i guess it makes sense. we have been putting them through a lot... he brought them these strange japanese books... maga, or something? i don't know... he said that they are getting popular with kids... he also brought some video games. this may just be me, but i think he's too soft." entry # 87, 1/2/07 "they're responding to the things Charles brought them. i don't believe it. a random act of kindness is letting us proceed... finally, we can begin phase 3." entry # 88, 1/4/07 "i should have seen this coming. why didn't i see this coming? they're rebelling, and we can't do anything to stop them. this may be my last entry... i hope no-" all will be explained. for now... across the world, people have been gaining abilities. these are people who play video games, read manga, or watch anime. their abilities are based on one character in the game, book, or show. the actual story will be revealled as we go along. anyway, people with these abilities may not even know they have them. as such, they live normal lives... but some can trigger their powers. once they get their powers, most go into hiding. some become "heroes" and try to do things that others can't. however, this is not based around them. this is based around a single group of students at a local high school... and the things they must do. ok, rules are normal rp rules, no god-modding, no taking control of other people's characters unless permission is given, and no killing off other people unless they let you do so. the basics of this is that you choose one character from a video game or manga/anime. you get that characters powers. also, try not to choose anyone too powerful. you can hide your actual abilities if you want, as long as you tell us who you get them from. ex. say you choose link... you get excellent swordsmanship, and the ability to shoot beams from your sword. you also have skills with other weapons link may use, and you get a free sword. (you must get what is needed to use whatever that character can do, unless it's a common object, like a knife or a mushroom." use this to make your character. Name: Age: (remember, your character is a high school student... though they may have skipped a few grades to get there, or were held back a lot...) grade level: (your in high school no matter what, so suck it up! :)) personality: ability: (just put down who it's based on, and what they let you do if you want) weapons gained with ability: appearance: bio: (optional) ex. this is not a real character. i feel i may have made confusing instructions, so i'm just gonna make someone based off of mario... Name: mario Age: 16 grade level: freshman personality: weird, but kind ability: mario's abilities. can jump very high, and can crush opponents by landing on them. can eat mushrooms to become larger. weapons gained with ability: none appearance: like mario bio: the example character i made. anyway, there you go. have fun... and on to the adventure! (sorry, i think i may be a bit rusty... i haven't been able to start up a good rp since my last one.) |

Name: GBPA Age: 17 grade level: 11 personality: Kind and just ability:MegaMan.EXE (abilities are basically all of his, soul crosses(rare) and Beast out near death(for now) as well as the ability to summon the effects of chips.(He starts with few and gain more as time goes on, probably no mega or giga) He also can use PAs) weapons gained with ability:Chips he's learned and buster or what crosses he has. appearance:A boy with spikey hair and cargo pants as well as fleece hoodies, when his powers really activate he can summon a costume similar to megaman.exe) Notes: Crosses will work where another RPer makes a strong bond and he can then use a weaker version of their powers with any weakpoint increased, after loss he has to wait a while to reuse it or in rare cases when he beasts over his crosses will be able to continually be reused. Beast over leaves him highly weakened afterward, and he has trouble getting the chips he wants. Edit: For PAs they will be from NT because using codes is too complex. Gbpa: Cannon! Cannon! Cannon! He's trying to reuse a pa he had used in his sleep, but all that happens is about 2X2 feet of ground heat up and glow and if he steps on it it burns his feet. Or another one is it makes a poof and puts something near his status that he feels, but it does nothing except fill the room he's in with bubbles when he washes his hands. Then he has to change his clothes and mop the bathroom. Gbpa: Moloko crap! It's not working... |

Name: Kiokure ijiiji (not hero? gasp!) people call him Kio Age: 14 grade level: freshman personality: easily frightened, but kind to everyone ability: Sawada tsuna's from the manga "reborn". no more provided at this moment weapons gained with ability: a pair of mittens, and a gun with two special kinds of bullets in it. appearance:  bio:frail, weak, and has no friends. he is the weakest person in the school, and his grades are the lowest as well. he tries to be kind to people, but is easily scared, and often makes a fool of himself instead of helping. |

OOC: comic book characters can count... kio walked through the halls. he sighed, as he looked around each corner, waiting for something bad to happen. it always seemed to. he opened the doors, and left the school. school was ending early today, and he wanted to get home. he wanted to continue reading his latest manga. |

Before kio can leave the premises Gbpa waves him down with a mettaur gaurd chip unknowingly equipped, the yellow shield waves humorously as GBPA doesn't realize it. Gbpa:Hey, I know we don't really know each other, but I have began exibiting "It" and would like to be your friend, because some of my friends are now shunning me and I'd always wanted to get to know you, but some of them wouldn't let me. Both of us seem to be outcasts now so we might as well band together. |

"it's ok... i'm sure whatever your talking about isn't that bad, and your friends will still be your friends. ah!" Kio looked at his watch. "i've gotta hurry! sorry, bye!" Name: Yuki Kurodo Age: 14 Grade Level: Freshmen Personality: He is seen as unemotional and acts formally. Often, he will cling to person, the reasons being unknown, sometimes the word "cling" being used quite literally. Ability: Because he is part of the undead, he is virtually immortal and can not feel physical pain. Furthermore, his body is extremely resilient and his speed and strength are heightened to an unhumanly quantity. Items: Wears a very formal martial artist outfit, given to him once he transformed into a bongun. Futhermore, a traditional zombification talismen is inserted upon his forehead. The talismen is the sole reason for his existance, and he dies automatically once he loses contact with it, though he can return to life if it is replaced. Appearance:  Bio: Yuki was always a great fan of Ragnarok Online, his favorite creature being a bongun. Yuki, unlike most of the MMORPG obsessed, was actually well endowed in his academics, and was going to skip two grades until his unfortunate death, which is yet to be explained. After two years of rotting in a grave, he unexpectingly gained life once more, his flesh returning to his body and his closed replaced with that customary for a bongun. Without a purpose, he returned to his home, where his presence caused his parents to go insane, leaving him to care for his newly borned sister, Himiko. Yuki is walking in the school's hallways with a teacher. She leads him up to Kio, smiling optimistically. Teacher: "Kiokure! Could you spare a minute? I want you to meet Yuki Kurodo. He is a transfer student from... where was it again?" Yuki: "Kyoto." His reply was unemotional, his expression was just as cold. Teacher: "Right, right. Anyways, I thought a nice kid like you wouldn't mind looking after Yuki while he adjusts to America. His English is a bit limited, but I am sure you two will get along just fine!" |

Gbpa: But... his voice lowers... Gbpa: I don't want them as friends... I like the ones who are loyal. He turns to see yuki and a teacher charging. Almost cartoon like he runs in place a second before running as fast as he can to survive the 2 charging blindly behind. Gbpa: This is not what I signed up for! |

Yuki and the teacher did not mind as they trambled over Gbpa. The two were soley focused on catching up with Kio, and soon were directly in front of him, the two stopping in front of their target. Teacher: What do you say, Kiokure? I would be happy to give you extra credit if you help him get accustomed to the school!" Yuki just stood there, not really saying anything. He did not appear as an emotional person, and instead he simply stared at Kio with his piercing green eyes. |

Gbpa flattened in generic anime style groans, before hopping up. Gbpa: Whats the big ide... His eyes turn yellow and his teeth grow wolf like, his fingernails grow and his face becomes wolf shaped, his eyes become canine andthe power overwhelms him. Gbpa: He dashes around the 3 before jumping up into a tree and watching his prey. Then he strikes slashing at a random person. |

Name: Palan Elbane Age: 14 Grade level: Freshman Personality: He tends to act very freindly towards others, but he can also have a short temper. Ability: Palan has healing abilities. This can only be done if she lays two hands over the wound. Appearance:  Bio: When he was younger, his mother was slowly dying of heart failure. Before she died, Palan put his hands on her chest and wept. He was shocked to see her get up and have a perfectly healthy heart. Although he tries to keep it a secret, he has told the school nurse about his healing. For now, he focuses on his studies. Character based on Sakura Haruno from Naruto. Palan walks down the hallway, a few books close at his chest. He watched as a few students sped down the halls. "WHY CAN'T THEY SLOW DOWN?" He thought. |

ooc: smb, who is your character based on? Kio starred at the teacher. most teachers treated him like a loser, but this one was different. "o-o-ok... i-i will..." most teachers had him do jobs like this, because they knew that he needed the extra credit. Kio wasn't happy about this, though. the new student scared him. |

Name: Kazuke Age: 14 Grade Level: Freshman Personality: Seems to be serious, but no one really seems to accept him. Ability: Has great speed and strength, as well as swordsman skills. Weapons Obtained: A sword similar to Ragnell in appearance. Appearance: Blue hair, dark purple eyes, blue coat, red shirt, and black pants. Bio: Kazuke was a big fan of the Fire Emblem series, especially of Path of Radiance. He seemed to be especially drawn towards Ike, which he looks like. He later found a sword that looked like Ragnell, and took it. Otherwise, he seems to be more like a leader in some situations. Character based on Ike. Kazuke was in the hall, just writing some notes on a sheet of paper, then headed to class. |
