The modern era brings with it the great glory that is technology. From plasma televisions to cellphones, communication with another human being from another part of the world only relies on the press of a button. The limitations of human existance are lesser than any time before it, and avocations are of great essence to their lifestyle, typically a trip to a once unvisited place. However, it is these avocations of exploring that have led to the incarceration of mortals in an immortal prision. In the city of Avondale, there is one place that souls dare not to touch less never be seen again. The castle known as Chiasma stands tall on the hill top outside of the city, though only on occasion. On the day of a solar eclipse, the castle appears as if it had been sitting there for many years, only to vanish as if it had not. Some claim to have seen it, however the authorities write of the claims as "the illusion of the lack of light hitting on the hill top". Yet, there are people who know of its existance, some more than others. Avondale was home to many people who became enthralled by the castle, enticed to enter the forbidden lair. These mortals were never heard from again, and only exist in the memories of the loved ones they once had. These humans are in the records as deceased, and are often removed from history with one fell swoop of a pen. Of course, not everything is as it appears to be. Within the castle lies these people, forever morphed into a creatures that may look as they did before at first glance, but are far from it. Through the castle's horrid influence, these former beings of human origin have been purged of their death, given the ultimate curse imaginable: immortality, to forever stay in the form they had entering Chiasma Castle. Futhermore, the item they wielded in their hands upon entering the castle has bonded with their souls entirely, becoming a part of the person. Of course, there are rules to this new standard of living, the most painful of them all being the inability to escape the castle... that is, until the day of the next solar eclipse. Character Creation Name: Age: Biography: Appearance: Rules 1. No god modding. 2. No killing another character without permission. 3. No constant dodging and hitting when fighting. 4. No unprofessional behavior. 5. No interrupting the RP with unnecessary posts. |

Name: Aizawa Age: 216 Biography: Imprisioned in Chiasma Castle 200 years ago, Aizawa is quite used to the experience as whatever he is, though longs to be human once again. Normally the odd one in the castle, he is often referred to as the Mad Hatter, on account of his sadistic, though childish behavior, and the formal top hat he wears along with his suit, not to mention his signature and always present smile. Though most of his history is unknown, he says he will tell anyone anything about himself, provided they play a certain game of his creation. The item that bonded with his soul was an assortment of piano strings, which he can manipulate by sheer will. Appearance:  Today begins as a normal day for a resident of this fine castle: boring. Despite the fact that tomarrow is the next solar eclipse, life goes on as normal as it could in a place such as itself. |

Name: Seth Age: 18 Bio: A normal kid who excels in his studies. He heard about the castle and decided to investigate... Appearance: Black hair, eyes, jeans, shirt, and coat. He usually has a pendant around his neck, and carries a chain for defensive purposes. |

Name: Katera Age: 215 Biography: She arrived at about the same time as Aizawa. However, upon entering she was in possesion of a large waterbotte. As a student, she was often worried about her appearence and tried to excersize often, only resulting in her appearence at Chiasma Castle. Katera is bright a very bright girl, but can often feel depressed. She's able to manipulate the water with her hands when it leaves the bottle. Appearance:  |

Aizawa peered from a door, noticing Katera instantly. Aizawa: "Good day my beautiful Katera! How is your day my love!?" Aizawa always seemed to act flirtatious around Katera, saying many times over again how he loved her. Though, with his mental state, it is difficult to know for sure whether he is honest or not. |

Katera looked up. She had previously been sitting with her head on her knees. "Oh, hi Aizawa..." She said drowsily. As much as she loved his spirits, she couldn't fight off all of the thoughts in her head. She'd been in that castle much too long. |

Name: Celes Age: 216 Biography: Celes has been imprisoned in Chiasma Castle for almost 200 years. She entered the castle as a youth to flee from a mugger, who was chasing her for the expensive sword she carried. With her sword in hand she had just bought for her elder brother, he was a sword collector, she ran into the castle. In her castle life, she has always entertained herself with her vivid imagination and fantasies, though she is quite quiet when around other people. Appearance:  Celes walked a large castle hall, imagining herself a princess within the castle. |

Name:Daisuke Age:214 Biography:Came in around the same time as Katera and Aizawa, however, hardly ever sees them. Spends most of his time staring off from the top of a tower. His item was a farmer's scythe, however, it has changed greatly over the years. He hardly ever uses it. Name: Kama (Also known as Jack of Hearts, his most used card.) Age: 500 Biography: One of the first to enter the castle, Kama has been there 493 years (he entered at 17), and thinks of himself as a "babysitter" for the "younger" (300 years and below) castlegoers. Most everyone in the castle reports to him as a leader figure, and he is known as Jack by all of them except his closest friends. When entering the castle, he was holding a deck of his favorite playing cards, which transformed into his weapons. He can throw them with pinpoint accuracy. Abilities are as follows (2-10 vary in strength, Queen and King are third strongest, Ace is second, and Jack is strongest, and has added effects): Hearts: All of them explode. Jack explodes into smaller cards, which explode into smaller cards, etc. Diamonds: The cards are razor sharp and almost indestructible. Jack: When thrown, the cards multiply into several and circle the opponent, slashing circular patterns. Clubs: When thrown, these cards turn into small concussive energy blasts. Jack: The blast is larger. Spades: When thrown into the ground, these burrow underground and, when stepped over, shoot small spikes upward. Jack: It's one large spire. Appearance:  ???: "Daisuke, stop sulking and enjoy the place for once." Kama walked straight up the tower (vertically. o.O) and then stood on the side looking up at Daisuke. "If you actually enjoy the place, you wouldn't be so obsessed with getting out tomorrow. Then again, if you weren't so obsessed with getting out tomorrow, you would actually be enjoying the place. Oh, how I hate paradoxes." Kama removed the Spade 1 cards that had been placed on the bottoms of his shoes (for climbing) and fell backwards, then using the spikes to grapple onto the side of the tower and swing down to the balcony below. He retracted the spikes and put the cards away, walking down the steps. "Aizawa! I need you for a second!" Kama called down the hall as he walked towards Katera's room (where Aizawa was 24/7), a merry smile playing across his face. |
