In the days when the earth was newly born, The gods would soar through the air and space, managing everything as if it were coriography. Nothing was left unattended by a god, and those passing by would make an inspection of the area. This kept the world perfect in their eyes, and proved to be their playground in turn; a never ending project which fasinated them above all else. Soon, their focus led to the great attention towards a perticular species. They named them humans, and would manage them in all matters. However, the humans grew to no longer need them, their intelligence proving to be great enough to survive without the gods. With colossal remorse, these divine beings detached themselves from their creations one by one, until their service was forever to be discontinued. Without a purpose, the gods created the realm of "Heaven", which they were meant to leave in forever in a peaceful paradise. However, this proved to be nothing more than a prison for the almighty beings, who grew bored without their Earth bound inventions. Now, while the humans live a life of the fast and pervailant cities, the gods remain in sort of a stasis, awaiting for a purpose. Beings Gods: Though blessed with immense power, the gods are now lingering in a world of lifelessness. They hope desperately that one day, they will leave the world of Heaven, though most now call it Limbo, and become useful for something; anything. Each god has the gift of governing a part of the world, and in theory are to use their abilities together in order to fully impliment their creativity. Humans: Now in the modern age, the humans have done extremely well without the assistance of the gods. Unaware that gods actually exist beyond religion, the people of Earth go through normal lives, destined never to know who actually created them, and where they reside now. Worlds Heaven: A place of shimmering gates and beautiful buildings, one would think that the gods would actually enjoying their stay in such a paradise. However, life goes on without anything to pass the time, as if it never existed. A world based greatly on position, there are two classes within society. The lesser gods are those who serve under the greater gods, as they are still quite young by godly standards. The greater gods are those who are given power within Heaven, as they are the oldest and supposively the wisest. Lesser gods are often the victums of trickery by the greater gods, who believe they are superior since their powers have fully developed. Earth: Despite the lack of divinity, Earth happens to be in a much better state than Heaven. Being a free world for the most part, humans have been given equality for all. Crime is a part of the world, and lack of understanding is always an issue. However, the life is above all at a neutral, the balance of good and evil still in check for the moment. Character Creation Human Name: Age: Being: Human Personality: Biography: Appearance: God Name: Age: Being: God Rank: Biography: Appearance: Rules 1. No god modding, which includes gods to an extent. 2. No super human abilities as a human. 3. No having more than one domain of power as a god. 4. No killing of a character without permission. 5. OOC: If you won't have anything for your biography, please list whether you are a lesser or greater god, and perhaps describe your power a bit. Yuki bowed, as all lesser gods were to when in the presence of a greater god. Yuki: "I was asked to pick up groceries, sir." Though gods did not need to eat, food was often eaten for pleasure and to show their wealth of power. |

Anos: Cmon don't bow to me. You're still a god wether these other gods acknowledge it or not. I'll take those to him for you. Just relax. *Takes the food from Yuki's hands and begins to walk away* |

Yuki: "Oh... yes sir.... thank you sir..." Yuki was suprised he was given help, considering his position. Despite that fact, he desided to use this extra time wisely and see if he could find something... anything worth wild. Of course, this would led to no pervail. Unfortunately, he did not have permission to go to Earth from his master yet, which many lesser gods cherish during their young years. The greater gods, however, were often not allowed into Earth, as they might influence the environment signifigantly. |

Not home eh? *Leaves the items Yuki gathered on the doorstep and began to simply walk away with a muffeld expression, hoping to find Yuki doon before he got ordered around again* *Sigh* Sometimes I wish I was a lesser god.. So I could go to Earth and watch what progress our ultimate creation has made. |

To be, or not to be: that is the question. To die, to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause. That makes calamity of so long life, for who would bear the whips and scorns of time when he himself might his quietus make with a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death, the undiscover'd country from whose bourn no traveller returns, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear those ills we have than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all... | |

As Yuki wandered through the city, He stumpled upon the gate that led out of Heaven; the pearly gates of human legend. He looked around, and began to think. Yuki's Thoughts: "I could probably make it passed the gaurds if I say I have an assignment. It would be an easy task, I simply..." Yuki shoke his head, trying to cast out the idea. "No, what am I saying? I can't just leave without permission... but then..." |

As if on cue, a person is walking down a white, translucent staircase in the sky. The steps become tangible as they are touched, leading to what was thought to be an unpopulated park near the suburbs. This person is Yuki, having finally decided that he would risk the consequences and descend down to Earth. Yuki: "I suppose I would rather be punished by the council than stay up there. But... now I am disobeying my master. Perhaps I do not know what I want." Despite his words, he was actually quite excited to be going down to Earth for the first time in centuries, a small grin appearing across his face. Soon, he was took the final step of the stairs, which then began to fade from the last step to the first, as though it were never there. Yuki now breathed in deeply, enjoying the fresh air of the park. Yuki: "Is all of Earth like this? It seems like there is no one around..." |

OOC: When they do not have a particular item upon them. Yuki had become so involved in his travel to Earth, he had completely forgotten that he left without his pendant. This pendant was obtained by Fudo's shop, used by the lesser gods to hide themselves from the humans, so that they could do their chosen task invisible to the mortal eye. However, now that humans no longer require the help of gods, Yuki had completely forgotten that he even had one. |
