Even knowing that the comment was not directed at him, Iquis still hesitated. He wanted to know more about this person, but knew it would be best to continue his period of silence. Iquis: (Death glare...) Iquis wasn't sure if Kazuki was upset with him, but he made sure to keep his disance. |

Kazuki turned around, facing Jeff. A single tear ran down his face, yet his expression of seriousness never faltered. Kazuki: "We were partners, nothing more." Kazuki remembered the incident exactly, the memory forever burned in his mind. Kazuki and a girl were standing in front of Twelve O'Clock Tower, holding hands. They seemed happy, laughing as they waited patiently for Kazuki's watch to strike twelve. Kazuki: "Only a few minutes left. Are you ready, Kira?" Kira: "Definitely! I have been practicing my chain shattering technique all week!" Kira was exceptionally powerful in breaking Chains of Moira, so much so that she had invented a special method of shattering several chains at once, without being having to be in contact with each one. Kazuki: "This is going to be great! Who knows what spirits reside here!" Kazuki's role was to banish any evil spirits that might plague the building, his power in this great enough to even banish demons. Kira: "Don't forget our mission, Kazuki!" Kazuki: "I won't!" As twelve o'clock finally approached, the two opened the door of Twelve O'Clock Tower, and stepped inside, closing the door behind them. With that, Kazuki shook his head, trying to forget the memory. Kazuki: "I made a mistake. I won't fail again." |

In English class, Kazuki never really payed attention. Instead, he would draw sketches of a certain ghost, which were extraordinarily detailed and very well done. He happened to be a great artist, though he only drew of ghosts. Teacher: "Kazuki?" Only Kazuki's eyes looked up, staring at the teacher. Teacher: "Please pay attention. Now then, who wrote..." Kazuki: "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle." Kazuki returned to his art, leaving the rest of the class puzzled. Teacher: "Um... correct... again." Other people in the class whispered, believing Kazuki was some sort of freak, though he didn't exactly care himself. |
