"Relax kid, we still need to pick up some stuff first." Ares replied.

Ares turned back to the van, secretly not wishing to stay behind with merely a knife. But he had a strong sense of duty, and felt it necessary to assist the group in such a way.

To be, or not to be: that is the question. To die, to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause. That makes calamity of so long life, for who would bear the whips and scorns of time when he himself might his quietus make with a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death, the undiscover'd country from whose bourn no traveller returns, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear those ills we have than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all...

"Thanks Ares. Right then, lets go get gas."

Alaric let everyone else gt in the vans then walked over to Ares' window.

"Depending on how it looks down there I might leave my gun with you. And... just follow me to the gas station."

After saying this Alaric got in his van started it up and drove onto the highway.

Dante stared out the window, pondering on the situation and how it would be like when they arrive at their destination...

Ares nodded in response, and drove off with them.

"...I really could use some jazz right now." he commented as they zoomed down the road.

Kralkan took the dart gun from his pocket and smashed it under his foot. All he wanted to do now was die. No one in the group but Kama and Dave really liked him anyway. He was just a worthless kid to the others.

Driving closer to the city Alaric pulled off the highway and stopped looked around. There were two gas stations, a modern Exxon and an older one with a repair shop. He drove to and parked by a pump at the shop. Once out he saw that the pumps were indeed old and not electronic. Alaric began pumping regular into the van and walked over to the seemingly empty shop.

Bryant grabs two barrels. "I still have one thing bothering me though. You know how we were saying that we may have been nuked? We might have recieved a lot of radiation. So, how are we still alive?"

"Well, we were about 50 miles out, and from what I remember reading thats not too bad. I'm sure our life expectancy has been lowered a few years but hey, not bad considering we could have been in town."

Alaric had dragged a barrel outside, when his van was full he put the barrel in the back and began filling it.

Bryant fills up his two jugs. "I say we head to New York or something after the King of Prussia. Or Virginia. I just hope nothing else has happened to us. One or two years aren't so bad. Just that I'm worried for the future...." He looks towards the sky, with an expression of sadness on his face.

Ares emerged with two oil drums full of gasoline in tow.

"Can anyone grab one? I found these around the corner. Someone left them."
