"Looks like everyone's almost ready, I'm going outside to warm up my van." Alaric grabbed his rifle and a bag and walked outside. He threw the bag in the back of the van and went around to get in the drivers door. He started the van up and put the heater on high and circulate air. Messing with the radio he did indeed find that it didn't work. "We should try to find a transistor radio in King of Prussia.." |

OoC: King of Prussia is a townish area northwest of Philadelphia known for being a shopping center. Insanely large mall, many outlets, strip malls, etc. Anyone living in Philly, no, Pennsylvania would know about it. "Yeah, should be able to get some info and supplies there." |

Kralkan didn't really want to listen to all the chatter. He was just a kid--why would he be included, anyway? He could find his own way out of this. Kralkan sneaked slowly out of the room to make his own plans. |

Once Alaric's van was full he told the passengers to wait a minute and went to find Ares. "I'm going to leave now, we'll meet at the exit 31 rest stop, that one about 5 miles out from King of Prussia." On his way out the house Alaric stuck a note on the door. It read "To anyone finding this house, feel free to seek refuge here, there should still be a can or two left. Good luck in whatever you do." Before he returned to the van Alaric walked out on the deck which had the same sweeping view of the city area as the main room's window. Taking one last look at the charred and burning landscape he turned around and got in the van. Turning around he went back down the mountain and got on the highway and went westbound. |

OoC: It's Ares in this RP mossy. Ares nodded headed out to his van, which was mostly filled with supplies. He quickly got on the freeway and reached over to turn on some jazz. He realized the radio was gone, so he stopped and continued driving. |

Driving west Alaric could see pillars of smoke, black, gray, and white, rising from different areas. As they continued moving towards King of Prussia there was smoke coming from there but nothing unusual compared to the rest of the trip. Once Alaric reached the rest stop he pulled off and turned the van off and got out. The rest stop was a typical rest stop, small grassy area, vending machines, and a restroom. Walking to the vending machines Alaric poked some of the buttons to check if it was working. As he expected it wasn't. Turning to the people that had come with him he said, "Think I should break it in to get the food?" |
