Alaric had gone and changed into another pair of pants and had put on a canvas jacket. Walking back into the main room he turned on both 360's and put halo 3 in both. "Come on guys, lets play some 4 on 4." |

Kama: "Alaric, mind if I do something?" Kama took a disc out of his sitar case (the old one) and popped it in one of the 360s; there was a "ding" and he switched to halo 3 without turning off the system. "I just hacked your copy to have everything ever programmed into the game unlocked; it's only for this sitting, though. If we restart the system you've got nothin'. I needed that so I could use my parts; the samurai-looking shoulders and the recon head and body. They're hidden, except for online game admins and programmers." Kama grinned. |

Kralkan walked into the main room, seeing everyone invited to the party gathered up to play Halo. Kralkan: "Well...uh...bye, everyone, I, er, gotta be somewhere..." And with a wave Kralkan walked out of the room. |

Alaric sat down and began playing Halo 3 with everyone else. He set up the match for capture the flag at Valhalla and started the game. He had just grabbed the other team's flag and was running back to his mongoose. Then, a brilliant white flash came from the direction of the city temporarily blinding everyone in the room. At the same time all the electronics shut down and the lights went off. Alaric stood up and began rubbing his eye's, trying to see again. When his vision returned he looked out the window to see a massive fireball over the city, growing higher and higher. Spreading outward was a shockwave, racing across the land and destroying much of what the fireball did not. "Oh God." |

Kralkan quickly ran back into the room. "Guys, we gotta get out of here, NOW." Kralkan said. However, Kralkan had apparently only seen the shockwave, because when he saw the fireball, he fainted from the shock. |

30 seconds after the flash came the shockwave. It was a fury of heat, sound, debris, and wind. Alaric heard some of the smaller windows in other rooms breaking, luckily for everyone in the main room the large windows held. Once the other windows had broken a blast of heat and wind rushed into the house, dust once again made it hard to see. Throwing his arm over his eyes Alaric yelled over the noise, "It must have been a nuke!" |
