There are no good RPGs on the Wii. Why? PS3 and even 360 have a bunch of them, but Wii has been gypped. They have Dragon Quest- Swords coming, but that doesn't count. Monster Hunter is on the calendar somewhere, but its far away. Where's our RPG's? Fire Emblem is good, but not really a RPG. Crystal Chronicles could be the answer, for a while. But if Nintendo has another console with no JRPGs, I might just sell my Wii. Am I missing out on titles? Why are there no Final Fantasy's or Dragon Quests coming? Is the Wii selling badly in Japan or something? Sorry if I come off hard. I'm a big RPG gamer, in case you couldn't tell. |

if you havent noticed nintendo lost majority of their RPGs on the GC and the controller doesn't exactly do much for an rpg (unless its a tales of) and the controller and stuff is what everyone is focusing on |

I guess, but that's hardly what we should be seeing. The xbox has more JRPGs than the Wii! That's kinda sad. |

Eh honestly I hate to tell it strait up. But...The Wii honestly doesn't have much "super gamer" type games. Super Mario Galaxy pushes it, but until SSBB comes out its gonna be rough. And even when SSBB comes out its going to lose a lot of the Tournament players because they complaining about the new stuff. But you never know what will come out for it. I do suggest getting a 360 or a Ps3 if you want more "Gamer" type games. |

Yes, but you're forgetting that the 360 has been out a bit longer than the Wii and it's just starting to get RPGs now, once it's two years old. Good RPGs take longer than a year to make, so give the Wii some time. |

I don't have high expectations for the new Crystal Chronicles. The first one was terrible if you were playing alone and decent with friends. But it was so difficult to play multiplayer, because you couldn't just plug in another controller and play with your buds, you have to friggin' connect your GBA to the CCN with that cord no one had. (Darn marketing ploys.) At least we have TOS2 (Potato Knights, or whatever) to look forwards. That I have high expectations for. |

Potato Knights? It's Knight of Ratatosk, actually.... dunno where you're getting the potato from... The new CC game doesn't look SO bad, but I'll save my judgments for when I see more than one trailer and 4 pictures of it. At any rate, Squeenix did say they were going about CB differently this time, focusing more on single player and giving the game a more mature look and feel to it. I'm still a bit suspicious myself, though. There is also Opoona. But that game looks ridiculous if you ask me... |

Ratatosk. R is very similar to P. Now you have Potatosk. Minus the "sk". Now you have Potato. Also, I hope you didn't think that I seriously thought it was Potato. Never heard of Opoona. I'll look it up later, I suppose. |

Riiight. Opoona just looks...weird. There are no other words to describe it. http://media.wii.ign.com/media/853/853591/img_4900862.html According to IGN, Namco has another RPG in their plans for the Wii. It's called Fragile: Sayonara Tsuki no Haikyo (Farewell Ruins of the Moon). Unfortunately, there is no news on it yet, but a Japanese site will open on the 26th with information about the game. Here is the link if you want to read it yourself: http://wii.ign.com/articles/835/835827p1.html |

Opoona doesn't look that good. The fragile one looks kinda radical, but I don't know enough about it. |

Yeah. I got excited when I heard Koei was developing an RPG since I like RPGs, but Opoona looks really meh. It's the kind of game that makes me stare at it and wonder what Koei was on when they came up with it... |
