OOC: Since Shades of Blood wasn't as big of a hit as I would have hoped, I am going to try and shorten the story a little, while doing a few little changes! This was a Malceure and uknowme219 production.
 The hussle and bussle of New York City never strains, even as times goes on. However, the people have changed signifigantly, especially a certain group of individuals, although they may not know it. A curse has filled the air of such a place, what with the shortness of one's range of heart in this era. The planets and stars have aligned themselves in quite a preculiar way, and those born under such a constellations have been striken with a great burden to rest upon their shoulders until they wither and die. Of course, with their differences of appearance and mentality, one of this curse keeps their identity hidden, a difficult feat in the capital of New York. Fortunately, no one outside of the curse knows of it, however the possiblity is great. The hunt begins for these humans, as the police may one day knock on their doors. There are no instruction manuels, or rules with their "gifts", only the will to survive. Constellations ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aries: As the Aries, the possessor of this curse is given the power to communicate with nature. Trees and earth are all voices to the Aries, and one of such a birthsign can command them with great force. However, the drawback is that the Aries must first give their blood to the earth, binding the two in a contract literally written with blood. Taurus: Blessed with the great strength of the bull they represent, those under the sign of the Taurus are naturally able to lift cars with ease. Yet, they are often very foolish, normally being quite gullible in their persue to find purpose. Gemini: The twins of the zodaic, Gemini is often with two personalities. With this mental problem, they are given the ability to influence another's mind. This is often used to wipe the memories of those outside of the curse to pervent such knowledge from spreading. This also allows the Gemini to play mind games with their foes, where the Gemini will create very realistic illusions that can act real to the viewer, if given enough practice of course. With the mental disorder though, it can be hard for a Gemini to understand themselves, and other people, causing them to allow others to push them around. Cancer: With the nimblest hands in the business, those of Cancer make excellent pick pockets. They have greater perception than normal people, able to evade and react to all possible threats. But, their greed often gets the best of them, and any opportunity to get any richer will peak their interest. Leo: Leos, like the lions the group represents, are the quickest of the quick, able to reach speeds one could only imagine. Yet, this causes them to have an extremely high metabolism, and as such they crave food at almost all times. Egotistical and proud, a Leo will always stand on their grounds, dragging others to their side whenever possible. Virgo: The calming powers of a Virgo can not be match, and often works to their advantage. With the touch of another person, Virgos can put their victums in a deep sleep. In this time, they can enter their conscious and do whatever they please with the individuals dreams. This can be helpful for revealing information, or simply to toy with one's dreams, though the possibility of in dream therapy exists as well. There is a flaw to this power however, as the Virgo becomes frightened of anyone touching them in any way, afraid of triggering their powers, even if they do have control. Furthermore, while they enter a person's dreams, their body is quite vulnerable. Libra: Who better to negotiate with than the Libra? All under this sign have incredible abilties of persuasion, often to such an extreme, it seems unworldly. This is in fact true, because their eyes have the great ability of controlling the will of others. However, they suffer from having a great sensativity to disease, making travel for them often difficult. They stay inside for most of their lives, watching enviously others are out enjoying themselves. Scorpio: With the Scorpio comes the most insecure and paranoid of humans that one may ever come across. With their low self esteem, they are alone in the world, even though they desire most to be close to someone. A Scorpio, interestingly enough, has incredible body resistent, able to survive from falling buildings without fatal damage. This is often a useful abilities, as they are often ones to go to the extreme, and often will jump out of a building when confronted with social interaction. Sagittarius: Under the archer, a person inherits a knack for flying weaponary. Their aim is always perfect, and it is nearly impossible to dodge the attack. Also, a Sagittarius can control the object entirely, making one seem like magician of sorts. Once they commit one murder, however, they cannot stop until they are killed, becoming sadistic, blood craving assassins. Aquarius: Those who carry the water in the zodiac are rewarded with the ability to heal wounds that were thought to be uncurable without great difficulty. In fact, many Aquarius bearers were thought of as miracle workers, often being the first to help the sick. Despite this, they have an incapacitating fear of blood. Pisces: A Pisces is a strange sight, as they usually are out of sight before one can see them. With the double vision of two fish, those born under this constellation are given the power to see seconds into the future, allowing them to take an action in response to it. Unfortunately, a Pisces, at the time of adolesence, sees a vision of their own death, which can cause them to go insane or at least becoming a nervous wreck. Capricorn: As the beginning and end of each year, the Capricorn takes the greatest force of the curse. They are the leaders of those who are part of the curse, and as such command all those to do whatever they will to be. With their birth sign, they can detect those with the curse from miles away, and can manipulate them by using a special technique which involves touching the members forehead with their index and middle finger. This causes great agony towards the victum, and is a useful disiplinary tool. Also, they are highly resistant to the gifts of the other constellation bound humans. However, this does not come without its draw backs, as the Capricorn dies at the age of 30 years old, freeing the other signs from its hold. Name: Aoshi Age: 15 Personality: Two faced, just as any Gemini. Aoshi is at one second very calm and gentle, while others he is a sadistic maniac only wanting to play mind games with those who annoy him. Though he tries to keep his friendlier side more dominent, his other face is often quite persuasive. Constellation: Gemini Appearance:  We find Aoshi sleeping on a fire escape, tucked within a shabby sleeping bag. This is not his fire escape, as he does not his own abode. Yet, he sleeps with a friendly smile on his face, even if his life hasn't been so friendly. |

Aoshi is awoken by the beating of the door next to the fire escape, showing to be an angry "neighbor" Man: "Hey! Not again! Get off my property!" Aoshi: "Oh... sorry sir!" Man: "Your going to be sorry in a minute!" Aoshi slips out of his old sleeping bag, and runs down the fire escape as quickly as he can, the angry man tailing him the whole way. Within minutes though, the man grows tired, and returns home. By this time, it is now dawn, and time for Aoshi to begin his hours at the flower shop. He did not get many costumers because of his "interesting" clothes, a white robe with crosses, and his social status. Never the less, he always had a smile on his face, ready to greet the world. Aoshi: "Greetings New York! How is your morning this fine day!" Woman: "Shut up Aoshi! I'm trying to sleep!" Aoshi: "Sorry miss." He laughed happily, gently rubbing the the back of his head. |

Iquis sits at home, happily reading one of his books. It was a library book, since his mother was making barely enough to pay the rent. She couldn't fiqure out how she managed to end up with extra money every month. Truth was, Iquis would disguise himself, walk to the city and walk to the hospital. There he would meet a freind of his and help heal many of the sick. In turn, he was paid just enough money to put food on the table. Iquis: (Incredible! I must share this with Gloria!) |

Sean gets up and takes a final look at the city below. He then dashes over the stairway door, opens it, and speeds down the stairs. Sean never liked elevators; thought they were too slow. He finally gets out side and begins to run down the sidewalk, going slower than earlier in trying to not draw attention to himself. He stops by the flower shop and peeks in before heading off to work. "Hey Aoshi. How are you this early morning?" |

OOC: My mind had been on a Kingdom Hearts drive. Before you know it.... Seth is in a suit, which he doesn't normally wear. However, he had to wear it for his new job at the flower shop, for he needed to make some money fast. He walked in, and noticed Aoshi and Sean. Seth: I'd...like to get a job here... |

Aoshi: "Oh, hello Sean! I am doing quite well today!" He was lying of course as to not worry Sean. In reality, he hadn't made a single purchase in the pass few days, and hadn't actually eaten in that duration. |

Aoshi then noticed Seth, a suprised look on his face. Aoshi: "A job? Um... sure!" He opened out his hands, as if about to embrace Seth. "There is always room here! The more the merrier, I always say!" He lied again, since he had barely enough money to support himself, which did not include actually having a house. |

Sean raised his eyebrow in questioning. "Really? You don't look it. But I'll take your word for it. And get some more sleep, will ya? You look like you haven't had a good night's rest in days." Sean looked down at his watch, shocked to see what time it was. "Oh, I gotta get going. Listen, stop by the movie store when you get off work, I have something to show you." Sean swiftly makes his way through the crowds toward the movie store he worked at. He arrived just on time, which isn't a surprise since he is never late. He lifted up the metal gate, unlocked the door, went inside, turned on the lights, and leaned back in his chair behind the counter, hoping for another easy day. |
