Hey, I'm wondering about the Nintendo DS Web Browser's Wi-Fi Connection. You have to be around an internet connection. Can you use it in a car/plane or can you only use it in a _____ amount of feet around an internet connection. If you have any kind of info on this, please share.. Thanks, Eric |

It has been reported that you can do Wi-Fi Connection in a plane. But I did it and it keeps on cutting out at points. Probably because you're up so high. |

Nonsense. To use the wifi connection, you have to be near a wireless network, which I think the DS works up to 30 feet away from a router. [any more is possible, but it lags a lot] Wifi connection in a plane?! LOL! Most ridiculous thing ive ever heard [BTW, the DS browser sucks.] |

The internet works up to 75 feet away from any wireless router as long as there are no obstructions. Realistically to get any signal that's worth using 50 feet and under is prefered. Many planes have wireless connections now (in fact I think most). I've never actually used a wireless device on a plane but it is there. I know the wireless connection works around large hotels that provide it but you can't get very far from it. |

I dont see how they could - Not without some... satellite-given wifi connection. Which... is one of the phone companies advertising that on TV? They say its wireless broadband - and they have a guy standing in the middle of nowhere [like a swamp and a desert]... |

Well, they have working phones on planes. I can see wireless internet as a possibility. |

I have the Browser I know. You do have to be within range of an access point, however it is very usefull when your on the go. example: when you are on a vacation and are sleeping at a hotel, you can tune into the connection and browse the web, and post on forums such as these.
