Hey, I'm not sure if I should buy a Nintendo DS lite. I'm a game fan of Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Final Fantasy, and others. I'm just not sure if I'll get alot of use out of it. I'm going over to Europe next summer and if I don't buy a DS or something I will just have an iPod. I'm just wondering If it's worth buying now, maybe there are new models coming out soon? Please help me out. The DS looks so cool.. Thanks, Eric :ph43r: |

I think you'd get plenty of use out of it considering the games you like. There's FF3, and FFIV coming out for the DS, plus all the GBA FF games, you've got Phantom Hourglass for Zelda, and there are plenty of Mario games too. In general, the DS has got a huge library, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find something you like. It's also got a great battery life, and it's perfect for traveling. I'm not really sure that they'll make a new model considering the DSL is an upgrade to the original DS. And since the DS is doing so phenomenal, I doubt they'll introduce a new handheld any time soon. |

Buy a DS NOW. You are only missing out now by not getting one - think of it this way: you could either spend the money now and get it and play it forever, or you could wait like 3 months and get it later and play it forever [and pay the same amount.] Why not go for the forever+3? xD |

Games I would recommend - well... first off, do you have a access to a wireless router? If so, some rly good games would be metroid prime hunters and mario kart DS. The new zelda game is pretty good [omg does it look long from the strategy guide O_o] Im going to be getting my free copy of it next week from work, but I played through about the first half hour of it today :P |

Asadfasdk. If it were up to me, I would go down the store and buy one now, considering I'm sitting on $150, but I wouldn't have much money left for games. Also, my friend is getting an extra one from someone else so he is gonna sell it to me for $80, so I'm waiting for that. |

Remember, the DS is the top selling game system in the country (and I think the world). There is a reason for that. #1. Unique game play styles. #2. Large catagory of great games. #3. It's the best priced system on the market. Buy it now. |

![]() Rune Factory is a great game too, especially if you like harvest moon. It's a little difficult though. |
