http://www.gamespot.com/news/6180462.html?...estnews;title;0 It's not much, but it would certainly make a Halo DS more plausible than before. |

Horrah!!!well that sheds some light on the hole Halo DS problem.I say a reason they split up from microsoft could have been that Bungie wanted to make a Halo ds?Microsoft said no that sucks.Bungie says well make it super supremo, the best FPS DS game EVER!Still MS says no.And some other stuff went down like independace day. Oh and thnx that make me happier today know this considering i'm babysiting my two cuz's and younger brother :ph43r: |

I kinda' don't get the point. Bungie becomes independent yet decides to remain loyal to MS. I mean what's even the point in that? It does make Halo DS slightly more plausible especially since Rare is allowed to develop for whatever current Nintendo Handheld they feel like, since MS has nothing to compete. Well with this I could see Bungie eventually abandoning Microsoft Entirely, I mean there's truly nothing Microsoft can legally do about it now. Hmmm...what if Bungie made the next Metroid series to fill Prime's absense? |

the reason there probly still loyal is cause if they need to use MS then they can cause there still loyal. And they can ask for help and that cause there LOYAL.you get?.hmmm thats a good idea.but it 'd have to go through with Retro studios first (they started the hole Prime Series)Ya know what'd be really dumb? An X-box portable. |

Bungie is now In-charge. They don't have to answer to MS. They can do whatever they like. That makes it more plausible right off the bat. Due to MS's stock hold in the company and the fact that that's where Bungie comes from it would make sense that they stay loyal to MS. But now there freed up to do things in the manor they see fit. |

Not at all. It's pretty good, but nothing that special. Even if we don't see "Halo" we might see something similar that's just as good from Bungie. |

I boycott every gaming system except for Nintendo. Sony is full of thieves, and there are only a few good games on the XBox. |

i still think its going to hurt bungie by putting halo on a non-powerful handheld..... it would possibly be nice on a wii though.... |

While it's good that Bungie split, why would we want a Halo DS? Who says they'd make another Halo, anyway? While it was a great series, I bet Bungie wants to move on to other things. |

Halo on the Nintendo DS? It could have been, if the deals had worked out. A major publisher began negociations with license holder Microsoft for the game to happen, and contracted a known game developer to produced a spec demo of a version of Halo for the Nintendo DS. The demo was made, the game was (according to those who played it) appropriately accurate to the Halo experience on Nintendo's little handheld, and the talks were active in making the game happen ... and then, it was no more. Due to issues regarding the license, Halo DS was never fully produced. A similar situation with the Halo franchise had occurred years earlier with the Game Boy Advance platform, but whether a demo or game code for GBA was ever produced is not known. found this on ING.. I think if halo DS was released,it would have been halo 2. |

rly? i think halo would be terrible on wii. ( yes i do like wii) i just think rather risking a total failure halo should just stay on xbox. bungie splittingn only means there may be some halo spinoffs(I.E halo wars) and totally new series that bungie might want to make. |
